Coming Soon: An All-New Moz Local

Local businesses face the unique challenge of monitoring and maintaining a strong presence in the real world and online. And whether you’re a marketer or a business owner, managing one business’s online presence or thousands, meeting this challenge can often take multiple tools and a lot of time.

Moz Local can help streamline the process of managing all aspects of your online presence by consolidating them into a single platform. And this all-in-one tool is about to be more powerful than ever.

We’re so excited to announce that an all-new Moz Local is coming! Starting December 2, customers will experience an updated platform with newly added and expanded features.

Local rank tracking, AI features, and social engagement

So, what’s changing? The new Moz Local will include a plethora of new data and features, as well as improvements to some existing functionality. All of these are meant to help you establish and grow your local business’s online visibility.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come.

  • The newly added GeoRank feature will allow you to visually identify areas of opportunity and get a clear picture of your local performance. Better understand your competition with interactive heatmaps and detailed review information.

  • See how often people are engaging with your Google Business Profile and how with data around clicks-to-call and driving directions. Learn how people are finding your business with information around search keywords used by your customers.

  • Track and monitor local rankings with the Google Rankings feature. See where your locations appear in the SERPs and local packs.

  • With the addition of new AI features for listings, reviews, and more, you can automate your high-impact marketing tasks, optimize your online presence, and drive more traffic to your business.

  • You will now be able to connect more than just your Facebook and Google Business Profile to Moz Local. With the addition of X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, you’ll be able to reach your customers wherever they are. Watch your following grow and monitor your social engagement all from the same platform you use for location data and review management.

  • With the expanded social features, you can plan, schedule, and post to these platforms without leaving the Moz Local platform. An all-new social calendar view will make executing your social media strategy easier.

  • Responding to reviews and engagements on social media will be streamlined with an all-encompassing Conversations view. You’ll be able to create brand templates to make sure you’re always using the correct brand voice, no matter who on your team is responding.

These are just a few of the exciting things we have in store for you with the new Moz Local. We can’t wait for you to get into the tool and try it out for yourself.

Save the date

When is this all happening? The updates will start rolling out on December 2, and all existing customers will have access to the new platform on December 3. Beginning December 3, anyone who purchases a new Moz Local location will have immediate access to the new in-app experience.

What to expect as an existing Moz Local customer

If you’re an existing Moz Local customer, you may be wondering, “What does this mean for me?” We’ve got you covered.

All existing customers will be automatically updated to the new Moz Local. Once you have access to the new platform, you’ll need to reconnect your Google Business Profile and Facebook accounts. And if you have a subscription that includes social, you may want to connect the newly supported platforms as well.

Additionally, we encourage you to check your location data and information to make sure everything still looks right. Of course, if you have questions or issues, our Help Team is here to assist or you can check out our Help Hub article, where we’ll continue to answer FAQs as they come up.

Stay tuned

This is just the beginning! We’ll be sharing more information and details in the coming weeks. We hope you’re as excited as we are to see the updates and interact with all the features that will be available in the new Moz Local.
