You can test this in keyword planner by simply searching for "Nike Shoes" and "Shoes by Nike". In this case, the first is searched 368,000 times monthly, the latter is searched 40.

Hello, my friend.
My understanding is that it depends on brand/product importance/recognition. Is your brand big and known enough to make a purchase decision difference? Is your product big and known enough to make your brand grow?
Example:
"Nike Shoes" vs "Shoes by Nike" - first seems to make more sense, because as soon as you see first word "Nike" you dont have to finish the sentence - you know that it's shoes and they are good quality.
Now, compare that to this "Nike Shoes" vs "Self-tying shoes by Nike" - here second sentence makes more sense, because the main word is "Self-tying shoes" is the subject of "importance" and the word "Nike" adds extra super-coolness to it.So, going back to standard situation of infamous products and brands - I think it would depend on what exactly you want to push. Usually companies choose to put product name first (gotta be good quality product), and then hope that the quality of product and word-of-mouth would grow the brand.
Hope this make sense and helps.
Cheers

Hi Does anyone know if Google prefers paragraphs over content in a table, or doesn't it make much difference?

Does adding more outgoing links on a high PA page decrease the juice passed to previous links?
Hi, I'm not sure how PA DA exactly works when the goal is to create backlinks to your site in order to have the most impact on passing PA DA juice (if there is such a thing) to ones money site. For example let's say you have a blog and the PA is 40 DA is 30. Let's say I create a backlink pointing to my site on the homepage of this blog, in which I desire better rankings for, and the links I created are only 1-3 outgoing links on this post which is again on the homepage. Then say in a months time, I want to add another post on the homepage (so the 40 PA and 30 DA stays the same) creating a backlink to one of my other money sites. Does adding this second round of backlinks result in sending less juice to the first? This is what I want to know. Thank you!

How should I handle pagination on an e-commerce site?
I am looking at one of our category pages and it has 25 additional pages for a total of 26 pages. The url for the first page looks good, then the next one ends with ?SearchText=768&SearchType=Category All additional pages have the same url. My first concern was duplicate content, but after looking no pages after the 1st are even indexed. What is the best way to handle this?

Splash/Warning Pages at front of site
We are looking at working on a site that needs a warning for users visiting - This splash/warning page is the only just google sees this not performing well in search engine - The sites are Wordpress sites - Would we use script to force a full screen pop up? This would be needed on a visit but if the user leaves and returns to the site the warning would need to reappear. Any ideas?

Too many links on home page?
I run a forum that currently has 351 links on its home page (and p.1, 2 etc.) due to all the tags that appear under feed items. Is it a viable solution to get this number down to simply nofollow all of these tag links? How else can I get this number of links down recorded by Google down, or is it not something I should be especially worried about?

NOINDEX listing pages: Page 2, Page 3... etc?
Would it be beneficial to NOINDEX category listing pages except for the first page. For example on this site: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/101/fsx-missions/ Has lots of pages such as Page 2, Page 3, Page 4... etc: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aflyawaysimulation.com+fsx+missions Would there be any SEO benefit of NOINDEX on these pages? Of course, FOLLOW is default, so links would still be followed and juice applied. Your thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated.
