Google not listing website correctly
-
have a domain that was unused for a while and displayed the "parked by Gandi" domain message. Recently, I decided to set up a fully working website on that domain, but I'm struggling to get it to rank correctly on Google.
Google isn't updating the http://domain.com to the correct https://www.domain.com, and I have tried everything. The http://domain.com redirects to https://www.domain.com if you click on it.
I managed to get the correct version, https://www.domain.com, to show up, but after a couple of days, it reverted to the old version and has stayed that way.
This has been going on for a few weeks now.
Additionally, I had an old version of the site using .com, and I forwarded that to the .co.uk, but the old .com will not be removed from Google. it was just one page without much content.
At the moment, Google's search results look very messy and out of date.
I have submitted the URL in the Google Search Console using the URL inspection tool and requested indexing and reindexing. I have also submitted sitemaps, but nothing is really working.
Any ideas?

It sounds like you’re facing issues with how Google is indexing your domain. Here’s a structured approach to resolve this:
Ensure Correct Redirects: Verify that http://domain.com is properly redirecting to https://www.domain.com using a 301 redirect. This informs search engines that the page has permanently moved.
Submit Updated Sitemaps: Make sure your sitemap for https://www.domain.com is up-to-date and submitted in Google Search Console. If there have been recent changes to your site, resubmit your sitemap to help Google recognize and index the new content.
Use the URL Removal Tool: To address outdated URLs, use the URL Removal tool in Google Search Console to request removal of old pages from Google’s index. This can help clean up your search results.
Check HTTPS Implementation: Confirm that all pages and resources on your site are served over HTTPS. Mixed content or partial HTTPS implementation can sometimes interfere with proper indexing.
Verify Property Ownership: Ensure that you have verified ownership of both http://domain.com and https://www.domain.com in Google Search Console to have full control over indexing.
Monitor Coverage Reports: Keep an eye on the Coverage report in Google Search Console to identify and fix any issues with crawling or indexing.
For enhancing your site’s media and improving visual engagement, tools like video editing apps can be valuable. They help in creating high-quality content that can enhance user experience and potentially improve your SEO outcomes.

If your website isn’t listed on Google, there are a few things you should check. Start by using Google Search Console to identify any login issues or problems. Review your SEO content, such as meta tags, titles, and descriptions, to make sure they accurately represent your content. Check for penalties or practices that could be affecting your rankings. Make sure your sitemap is submitted correctly and that your site complies with Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. Regularly update and optimize your content to increase your visibility.

So, we had this problem before, it was simply because of a no-index tab which was switched on for our blog posts or for some of them, once we sorted this problem, we had a lot more calls for our web design and SEO services.

@nomanhussainn thanks for your reply.
Must I setup the .com as a property in the google search console then ask for the .com to be removed?
I have already done steps 1 and 2 a long while ago.
The other issue I'm having is the http://domain.com is not being removed or updated to https://www.domain.com google is actually showing the http://domain.com with a cache meta description over the new forwarded version.
Currently in the google search console I have the follow properties for the https://www.domain.com.
Any ideas?

It could have been because of a significant Google algorithm update was rolling out; sometimes, we can't send pages for indexing. We had this problem recently; try manually submitting each page again using Google Search Console.

If Google isn't listing your website correctly, check indexing status in Google Search Console, fix any crawl errors, optimize SEO elements like meta tags and keywords, ensure mobile-friendliness, and build high-quality backlinks to enhance site authority.

Google doesn't show my Twitter account
Hello, my full name is Timo Rossa and my Twitter (X) account is @TimoRossa. If I search for my name with "Timo Rossa" on Google, it doesn't find any results referencing my Twitter account. It is very important for me that Google does not only show Twitter results for my name but also that those results would be ranked at the top. The only reason I could come up with is that my account name has not separated words. Does this make sense? What would be a simple strategy to achieve my goal? Thank you!

Question regarding international SEO
Hi there, I have a question regarding international SEO and the APAC region in particular. We currently have a website extension .com and offer our content in English. However, we notice that our website hardly ranks in Google in the APAC region, while one of the main languages in that region is also English. I figure one way would be to set up .com/sg/ (or .com/au/ or .com/nz/), but then the content would still be in English. So wouldn't that be counted as duplicate content? Does anyone have experience in improving website rankings for various English-speaking countries, without creating duplicate content? Thanks in advance for your help!

Plagiarized Site Effecting Google Rankings
Can someone provides insights on a de-indexing example? I have gone through the depths of Google lack of support and requesting duplicate content flags, so no avail. Here's the scenario: Client had a competing SEO provider try to earn his business. In doing so, he copied word for word our blog that we have been producing content on over the last 5 years. He also integrated Google reviews in the structured data on this new URL. Well, fast forward 1-2 months later, our rankings started to drop. We found this 100% plagiarized site is taking away from our keyword rankings on GMB, and is no and Google search, and our site GMB is now only displaying on a branded name search as well as our search traffic has dropped. I have identified the plagiarized, duplicated content, being tied to our GMB as well, as the source of the problem. Well, I finally obtain ed control of the plagarized domain and shut down the hosted, and forwarded the URL to our URL. Well, Google still has the HTTS version of the site indexed. And it is in my professional opinion, that since the site is still indexed and is associated with the physician GMB that was ranking for our target keyword and no longer does, that this is the barrier to ranking again. Since its the HTTPS version, it is not forwarded to our domain. Its a 504 error but is still ranking in the google index. The hosting and SSL was canceled circa December 10th. I have been waiting for Google to de-index this site, therefore allowing our primary site to climb the rankings and GMB rankings once again. But it has been 6 weeks and Google is still indexing this spam site. I am incredibly frustrated with google support (as a google partner) and disappointed that this spam site is still indexed. Again, my conclusion that when this SPAM site is de-indexed, we will return back to #1. But when? and at this point, ever? Highlighted below is the spam site. Any suggestions? Capture.PNG

Google Search Console - Excluded Pages and Multiple Properties
I have used Moz to identify keywords that are ideal for my website and then I optimized different pages for those keywords, but unfortunately rankings for some of the pages have declined. Since I am working with an ecommerce site, I read that having a lot of Excluded pages on the Google Search Console was to be expected so I initially ignored them. However, some of the pages I was trying to optimize are listed there, especially under the 'Crawled - currently not indexed' and the 'Discovered - currently not indexed' sections. I have read this page (link: https://mza.seotoolninja.com/blog/crawled-currently-not-indexed-coverage-status ) and plan on focusing on Steps 5 & 7, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had experience with these issues. Also, does anyone know if having multiple properties (https vs http, www vs no www) can negatively affect a site? For example, could a sitemap from one property overwrite another? Would removing one property from the Console have any negative impact on the site? I plan on asking these questions on a Google forum, but I wanted to add it to this post in case anyone here had any insights. Thank you very much for your time,
