Website gone from SERPs - please help to understand why
-
Dear SeoMozers,
My website www.buy-hosting.net ist around for about 6 months. It performed quiet well the first months and for the main keyword "Buy Hosting" it went continously better, until #7 in SERPS of Google. Then, some days ago, it suddenly disappeared and traffic went down to nearly zero. It is not even in the Top 100 for "buy hosting" anymore.
Can anyone please advice me, what could be the reason for that and what I could do about it? I'am desperate, beacuse I worked about 8 months nearly 100% of my time on that project...
Thank you and kind regards

Have you checked webmaster tools for any messages? You still have 200+ pages indexed.
I wouldn't discount the content. There maybe something that Google doesn't like about it. I do see a few misspellings on the home page (prooves) and cutoff words (if they don't make a cus...). When I found you in Google, this is what Google is serving me up for a description: "All mentioned trademarks are property of their respective owners. By using this site, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use ..."
Plus side is you're still ranking well in Bing.

I can exclude malware, hidden text and infringing content.
How can I check out for devalued links?
Where can I read about the specifics of the Panda Update?
Thank you
-
These are common reasons why sites disappear from the SERPs.
I didn't look at the site. Looking at a site for these types of problems is risky takes a large amount of time.
-
Dear EGOL,
is this speculation, did you have a real look at the site, the metrics? Would you please tell me, why you think that?
Kind regards
Michael
-
Hi,
all contents are 100% unique and self-made by me personally. This can not be the reason.
Other ideas?
-
I agree with EGOL regarding the content, are you sure all your content is unique and not on any other sites?
Maybe part of the Panda updates?
-
It could be... malware... hidden text... infringing content... Panda.... a variety of other things... but most likely it is devalued links.

Schema Markup Doesn't Make Any Sense!! Help Please
Hey again Moz community! I've been trying to read up on schema markup and watch videos multiple times (!) but I can't understand how it works. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can answer these questions: Do I need to ‘markup’ every part of the article? Like “this section can be FAQ snippet, and this can also FAQ etc..". So I guess my question is how detailed does the markup have to be? What are the best tools to use for schema markup for wordpress? What are the best tools to use for schema markup for react web-app? The https://search.google.com/test/rich-results shows if the markup is good for a page, but it doesn’t provide any details. For some articles it says that sitelinks searchbox is detected but that’s only one type of snippet possibility? Do I need to add additional markup for, say, list snippets and FAQ snippets if I want a chance to get those? Thanks a lot! Leo W

Schema for E-Commerce websites
Hi Guys. I am running a cleanup for the on page schema we use and will be moving the on page elements into tag manager. I have all the metas and schema for the products boxed off. My question today is what schema should I use for category pages. Granted there is Json-LD for aggregated reviews but I cant see or work out how or what to use for the category pages that have the lists of products on. Any assistance appreciated. Alex

Redirecting M Dot Mobile Website to Responsive Design Website Questions
Hi amazing Moz community 🙂 Couldn't find this question anywhere, and knew this was the place to ask! We are helping a client redirect an M Dot website to a Responsive Design website. We want to retain our mobile rankings for keywords. Three questions - We should use 301 redirects from the M Dot website to the new website correct? (not 302s?) How long does it take for Google to understand that we have launched a responsive website? Can we remove the 301 redirects after a few days (if the M Dot website interferes/breaks the new Responsive website)? We have verified an account on Google Search Console for the M Dot website, along with a mobile sitemap that has been submitted and verified. What should we do with this M Dot GSC account? Just delete it? Or keep it and upload the NEW XML Sitemap with the new WWW links (because the website is responsive). THANK YOU!

#! (hashbang) check help needed
Does anybody have experience using hashbang? We tried to use it to solve indexation problem and I'm not fully sure do we use right solution now (developers did it with these FAQ and Guide to Ajax crawling as information source). One of our client has problem, that their e-shop categories, has solution where search engines aren't able to index all products. In this example a category, there is this "Näita kõiki (38)" that shows all category products for users but as I understand search engines aren't able to index it as /et#/activeTab=tab02 because of #. Now there is used #! (hashbang) and it is /et#!/activeTab=tab02. Is this correct solution? Also now example category URL is defferent for better indexation with:

/et#!/
../et And when tabs "TOP ja uued" and "Näita kõik" where activated/clicked then:
/et#/activeTab=tab01
/et#/activeTab=tab02 I tried to fetch it in Google Webmaster Tools but it seems it didn't work. I would appreciate it if anybody can check this solution?0 -
Understanding how to fix a 403 issue with my website
Hi guys, I hope you can help solve a mystery for me! My site FranceForFamilies.com has been around for 9 years and has always ranked well - at least until I launched a new Wordpress version earlier this year. The purpose of the relaunch was to improve the look of the site, so I kept the content and meta titles the same but created a new design. However, from the day of the new launch the search engine rankings have plummeted, to the point where most seem to have disappeared all together. I have found that when Moz crawls the site, it only crawls one page. I asked the Moz team about this and they said that the site is returning a 403. They also tested this using a curl and received a 406 response: curl -I www.franceforfamilies.com/ HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable However, when I check our Google Webmaster tools I can't recreate the issue. I don't really know what is going on, and I don't have the technical knowledge to solve this - can you help? Thanks, Daniel
