On page grader tool - ip address
-
Does anyone know Moz's IP address for the above tool so I can give it access to a staging area of our site?
-
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
Unfortunately we do not use a static IP address or range of IP addresses, as we have designed our crawler to have a dynamic approach. This means we use thousands of dynamic IP addresses which will change each time we run a crawl. This approach gives us the best dynamic view of the web, but it can make us incompatible with some servers or hosting providers.
The best option I'd be able to suggest would be to identify our crawler by User-agent: rogerbot
I apologize for the inconvenience this causes! Sorry I couldn't help you further.

Cant figture out why On-Page Grader is not recognizing the heading tag text
Hi all, I'm using the On-Page Grader tool to optimize some of our pages: https://mz.seotoolninja.com/pro/research/page-grader?keyword=Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.russianlawyers.us%2Fus%2Fcalifornia%2Fsacramento-immigration One of the suggestions is "Optimal Use of Keywords in Header Tags". They keyword is "Russian Immigration Lawyers in Sacramento" and we do have it in an tag on the page (located in the right sidebar). The tool doesnt seem to catch that though. Can someone help me please? Thanks

Multiple Page Title Elements
I have searched high and low for the source of this but just cannot find it. On-page grader gives the multiple page title elements warning, but I just can't identify where this is coming from. Can anyone, please, point me to the right direction?

How can the Moz Page Grader support a 'keyword portfolio' approach?
I used to use the Page Grader tools to support the old philosophy of one page - one keyword. With more focus now being given to a portfolio of keywords around a topic area - what would be a good approach to using the page grader tool? Obviously getting A's and B's is impossible for multiple keywords. The only way i've seen suggested in moz tools to help with keyword portfolios is to use labels in the ranking measurement and then find averages of the results. Are there other strategies that I can try?

When Moz provides an on-page grade report card, what tells Moz which keyword to grade for?
I just started working with the on-page grader and of couse am particularly interested in fixing my pages with not so stellar grades. Can someone tell me how SEO Moz decides what keyword to grade a page for? I receive a report each week that tells me how many pages I have with A's, B's etc. But what tells Moz to grade a page for a particular keyword? Is it the first keyword listed in the meta description?
