I have a client that I used Moz Local services for, and I'm seeing lots of urls such as https://www.omegalab.neustarlocaleze.biz/directory/us/?after=2020-09-05T01:52:28.343352Z&count=50 being shown as follow backlinks in other software. Anyone else seeing this and think it might be an issue?

RE: How to target slight variations in ecommerce store
That's the thing it's not a topic necessarily, but we still want to rank for those terms. I guess instead I would say, if we don't publish a unique landing page for those highly competitive terms, what is the other best ways to influence those terms?

RE: How to target slight variations in ecommerce store
True, I've read that article and I maybe used the wrong terms to describe my issue. Insteads, let's say I want to target:
best men's leather wallets
best quality leather wallets
best american made leather wallets
Surely I can't add all of those variations to my homepage or one category title tags and in the content (without sounding spammy)
Would specific landing pages for those type of variations be appropriate?

RE: Should I Use WooCommerce Tags & Attributes?
Quick question on this...
For product attributes in Woocommerce, like pa_color, would you put
Disallow: /pa_* to keep all attribute pages from being crawled via robots.txt?

RE: Local Business Audit Help.....
I like Donna and Travis' answers, and I would also like to add an automation/scripting option. This only works on certain directories, social networks, etc, and is dependant on your drive to automate/scripting experience, scale of issue, and structure of the target directory/website code/process. The easiest way is to use something like this - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/imacros-for-chrome/cplklnmnlbnpmjogncfgfijoopmnlemp?hl=en
Basically, you play through the process once, it records the "steps", then loop it with any variations or csv data pull needed to automate browser tasks.

How to target slight variations in ecommerce store
Hi friends,
I'm trying to target a variety of keywords for an e-commerce/woocommerce store.
These keywords have slight differences, and I have a writer to come up with a paragraph or two of unique content for each SEO landing page. I plan on making them with WordPress pages, and linking them with in the content to other related blog posts and product categories.
Would it be best to make individual landing pages for terms that vary like:
- mens wallets under $100
- mens wallets under $50
- mens wallets under $25
- mens leather wallets
- qaulity mens wallets
- affordable mens wallets
- buy mens wallets online
- shop mens wallets online
Should these each be individual pages? How should I link these to the main navigation? or Should I interlink them elsewhere?

Correct Schema data for oral/facial surgeon
Hi friends,
I'm having trouble deciding which schema data is correct for a client who has does both dentistry type services (dental implant, remove wisdom teeth, all on four - but is not a full service dentist) and also provides surgical services (maxillofacial surgery)
I cannot decide between these
- https://schema.org/MedicalSpecialty
Which would you choose?

Location pages for Two location business
Hi friends,
I have a website with two brick and mortar locations. Right now I have both NAP's listed on every page on the sidebar and footer. I don't have either in schema format yet, as I don't know if I can have two schema's on the same page.
1. In the near future, I will be publishing pages for each individual location, but I want to keep the NAP of the other location on that page also, in case the visitor would prefer that location (they are only a few towns away from each other) Is that going to cause issues? Should I only have the NAP of that location? Which should I have schema data for?
2. Also, I have location pages for the surrounding cities, which we have added a Google Map with directions to the closest location, written directions, a few local reviews, and a paragraph about services. I want to publish these asap to rank in those ~10 other nearby locations. What NAP should I have on those pages? The closest location, or both?
3. Linking in the Google Local/My Business. I have verified both locations Google Local's, and I want to link them into the respective Two locations once published, but I want to do it properly. I read on one location seo article that I should change the website listed on the Google Local profile to the new url of that location, and link to the Google Local on that page. Is this correct? Which Google profile do I link to in the other location pages? or both?

Query results being indexed and providing no value to real estate website - best course of action?
Hi friends, I have a real estate website that has thousands of these type of query results pages indexed - http://search.myrealestatewebsite.com/l/43453/New_York_City_Rentals?per=100&start=159
What would be the best course of action to ensure those do not get indexed, as most provide no value whatsoever.
1. I'm limited to what I can do in the IDX, but I do believe I can modify the URL parameters for the website in Webmaster tools? Would this be correct? What would my parameter look like?
2. I have a webmaster tools for the website, then also the subdomain, which one would I submit the url parameter, or both?

RE: Besides technical error improvement, best way to increase organic traffic to movie review website
Thanks for the input.
We just started capturing emails and will look into formatting content in emails to drive comments. I agree user generated content is a big opportunity for this website.
We are working on in-context linking, although it's already pretty heavy.
Yes, I was going to change the focus keywords to longer tail for less competitive searches.
We do leverage youtube, but i'm not sure what you mean by embeddable tool?

RE: Weird Indexation Issue
It looks like you have an old CMS or and old PHP test script somewhere within your server files which is causing this issue. If you delete the .php files that are creating that page at http://www.neocartimplant.com/anatmal/knee-anatomy-maladies/anatomy/articular-cartilage.php - then it should become a 404, redirect it via 301 redirect, and you should be good to go. I am assuming it has seo value since it is ranking, and perhaps backlinks, so that is why I suggested the 301.

RE: Are there any strategies (Moz-specific or other) on how to improve the Total Links metric against competitors?
First off, I assume you understand that quantity of links, a.k.a a higher Total Link, is not necessarily a recommended practice in SEO any longer. It is now more importantly about the quality of the links. I outrank competitors who have many more links than my client, but it is due to our quality of link profile, website speed, technical seo, onpage seo, and certainly not the Total Link. If you do want to quickly increase your total links, maybe an infographic, viral social, buy them, or pbn it and create your own, all of which are questionable, except for maybe the infographic.

RE: Ecommerce - SEO Quick Wins?
-
I personally would concentrate on your Title tags, modifying the title tags to reflect your researched keywords will have a relatively quick turnaround if optimized correctly. If your CMS allows, change the whole structure to stay within Moz/Google suggested limits. Add unique content to your category pages, and optimize those titles as well.
-
Compress images, caching, server optimizations, etc to increase website speed as much as possible, an increase usability.
-
Gain low hanging fruit quality relative links, for example, any links to industry brand lists, any brand mentions without links, charity sponsorships without links etc.

RE: Woocommerce SEO and Product attributes
I actually looked into this a little further before developing conditionals, and I noticed it is possible in Yoast. You have to go to Products - Attributes, then the Gear icon, then select noindex.

RE: Webmaster tools not showing links but Moz OSE is showing links. Why can't I see them in the Google Search Console
Make sure you have a version of Webmaster Tools setup for the http://www.yourdomain.com and http://yourdomain.com, as well as any https://www.yourdomain.com etc. Make sure these Webmaster Tools also do not show the links. I have seen Webmaster Tools missing follow links before for some of my clients, I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you know they are there and the link is correct. Maybe verify with another backlink crawler, but in reality, you're looking at different indexes by different data sources, so you'll see some variation in results (different numbers and links for different backlink reports)

Besides technical error improvement, best way to increase organic traffic to movie review website
I have a friend's website, ShowBizJunkies, that they work very had at improving and providing great content. I put the website in a more modern theme, increased speed (wpengine, but maxed out with cdn, caching, image optimization, etc) But now I'm struggling how to suggest further improving the seo structure or building backlinks. I know trying to come up for those terms like "movie reviews" and many similar are ridiculously difficult, and requires tons of high quality backlinks.
What is my lowest hanging fruit here, any suggestions?
My current plan is:
1. Fix technical errors
2. Create more evergreen content
3. Work on timing of article release for better Google News coverage
4. More social sharing, sharing on Tumblr, Reddit, Facebook Groups, G+ Communities, etc
5. Build backlinks via outreach to tv show specific sites, movie fan sites, actor fan sites (interviews)
