Social Content Posting - Post to Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter and Linked in at the same time
-
Hi,
Is there any means of posting new content for my companies various social profiles in the one go rather than having to log into each one?
This would save a lot of time.
Thanks

Hi Susan,
Thanks for your response, I did some research and it appears two services have good offerings in this space (note, your suggestion is what allowed me to find this research).
1. Ping.fm - seems to be the best social content aggregator
2. Hootsuite as recommended by you, allows multiple social accounts on the same network to be managed and adds other layers of capability.
3. You apparently can connect the two as per this link:

Other peoples feedback indicates it works well, will start to try myself and give feedback via this question in 30 days.
Thanks very much for your response!

Hootsuite is a web-based application. Tweekdeck is something you have to download to your computer.
There are a few others but I can't remember what they are right now.

As Susanna suggests hootsuit is great. Tweekdeck is also a good similar tool.

Hootsuite is fabulous for doing just that. I've been using it for more than a year. There's a paid version and a free version. If you're the only one working on it, you have fewer than 5 social networks, and you don't care to see link reports the free version is fine. the paid version is $5 per month.

Facebook: reaching audience who have liked / shared my content
Hi, I am new to social, so the question might be a bit beginner. If I put a like / share / recommend button on my site, or maybe a comment box, how can I reach audiences at a later time, who have interacted with my plugins (liked/shared/commented)? Paid ads would be one solution, but for now I am interested in organic (free) targeting. So if people who share my content do not become fans at the same time, how can I engage them in new updates about my page? Thanks for thoughts.

Social media signals from Facebook comment plugin on your site?
If you are using the Facebook social plugin on your site like ThinkGeek does for comments: http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/ed6b/ Are there any positive social signals from people leaving comments that could impact the SEO of the page? I searched the text of some comments in quotations in Google and it appears that the first few comments are indexed but most are not.

Identifying members on Twitter
We are a member based company. Membership is by business not individual. So for instance if your widget business is a member anyone with a [email protected] email address can sign up and use all our content, portals, etc. I want to take emails and figure out if they are on Twitter. I know Twitter allows you to search your contact list but this wouldn't be that. It would be a list of emails I create. Are there any tools or suggestions to do this in a efficient way besides searching each individual name on Twitter? Thanks for the help.

Google Plus Page vs. Local
We have a google plus page here, set up as a business: https://plus.google.com/b/118361610870255631824/118361610870255631824/posts Then we also have a migrated local page: https://plus.google.com/111600136449742974371/about?gl=uk&hl=en What I would like to see ideally, is to keep the local marker so when people search through Google Maps our name still appears, but on a branded search for 'world of books' I want to see our Google+ page down the right hand side, rather than the local page currently, search for 'world of books' I want it to look the same as if I search for 'music magpie' Help!

Do facebook shares of deep links help the whole domain rank better?
What i mean by this is if we were to obtain 10-20 facebook shares for 10 different deep links like these: http://domain.com/deep-page/page-one
Social Media | | adriandg
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-two
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-three
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-four
... Would that help any of these rank better:
http://domain.com
http://domain.com/product1
http://domain.com/product2
etc... Extrapolating, does the same count for Twitter, Google+, etc?0 -
Twitter campaign - need some feedback
Hi I am helping my wife optimize e-com site selling childrens clothing. I am learning SEO from scratch and have no real computer background (physician IRL). Been doing okay - member here for less then 2 months and are ranking 12th and 14th for 2 main keywords (frontpage) and 4 other keywords on first page (producer names on separate pages) (6th -9th spot). All of course absolutely whitehat. I havent done a twitter campaign yet. just recently opened twitter account but have 3 or 4 followers willing to retweet ( they all have 700-1000 followers in right segment). I have very limited twitter knowledge. Here is my idea and just shoot at it if you think i should do it otherwise: it will be in norwegian but ill do it in english just for you 🙂 follow @companyname(epleskrinet) #childrensclothing (which is name i use for company on facebook) and retweet and take part to have your chance to win a 'giftcard' of x USD. (www.epleskrinet.no) I am planning to put a box/picture referring to competition on frontpage. Feel free to critique me, thanks for help.
