What is the quickest way to get OSE data for many URLs all at once?
-
I have over 400 URLs in a spreadsheet and I would like to get Open Site Explorer data (domain/page authority/trust etc) for each URL.
Would I use the Linkscape API to do this quickly (ie not manually entering every single site into OSE)? Or is there something in OSE or a tool I am overlooking?
And whatever the best process is, can you give a brief overview?
Thanks!!

Thanks John!
FYI, for anyone else looking for a solution, Mike King also pointed me towards this: http://www.tomanthony.co.uk/blog/seomoz-linkscape-api-with-google-docs/

As I just told Dan on Twitter, I built out a spreadsheet a few months ago that is linked to in this post: http://bit.ly/mc0Q9v.
You'll have to use your own Moz free API key and hack the sheet a little bit, but it uses the Moz and Twitter APIs to pull the Moz metrics (DA, PA, etc) into a Google doc.
Good luck Dan and anyone else who reads this!

Too Many On-Page Links: Crawl Diag vs On-Page
I've got a site I'm optimizing that has thousands of 'too many links on-page' warnings from the SeoMoz crawl diagnostic. I've been in there and realized that there are indeed, the rent is too damned high, and it's due to a header/left/footer category menu that's repeating itself. So I changed these links to NoFollow, cutting my total links by about 50 per page. I was too impatient to wait for a new crawl, so I used the On Page Reports to see if anything would come up on the Internal Link Count/External Link Count factors, and nothing did. However, the crawl (eventually) came back with the same warning. I looked at the link Count in the crawl details, and realized that it's basically counting every single '<a href'="" on="" the="" page.="" because="" of="" this,="" i="" guess="" my="" questions="" are="" twofold:<="" p=""></a> <a href'="" on="" the="" page.="" because="" of="" this,="" i="" guess="" my="" questions="" are="" twofold:<="" p="">1. Is no-follow a valid strategy to reduce link count for a page? Apologies if this has been asked, the search didn't seem to come up with anything specific to this.</a>

Is there a way to manually update the keyword rankings tool in SEOmoz?
It appears that our keyword rankings update weekly on Thursdays. Is this the same across the board or is there a way to manually run an update?

Group by domain broken in OSE?
When trying to browse the results using the "group by domain" filter in OSE, when you click on the next page or one of the page numbers the results go back to the ungrouped list.

Open Site Explorer Data
Good afternoon SEOmoz, I first want to congratulate with you for the amazing new look and new features of Open Site Explorer, it's an amazing and valuable tool that I use every day and that has helped me build tons of links for my clients. I have been keeping track of the OPE data on a monthly base and I just noticed something strange. In May 2011, OSE was showing that my client's website had 12,624 links, in July 2011 the website had 14,157 links and today I just ran a new report that showed just 6,401 links. I don't want to believe that in 2 months we lost half of the links, so I was wondering if you guys can give me more insights about this data.

Did SEOMoz change the way they measure the number of links? Or is this just a bug or issue they are having with the new version of OSE? Thanks!0 -
Site not showing data in Open Site Explorer
I have run open site explorer for a couple of sites but I am getting the "no data available for this URL" message. I have read the reasons listed on the error message but none of these apply to the particular sites I am looking for data from. Any thoughts as to why this might be? Thanks, Kwan
