Facebook Like Wall
-
Here is a Facebook question: I would like to hide some content behind a Facebook wall - i.e. only make it visible to users who press the like button.
Something like the New Yorker did with a Jonathan Franzen story.
My question is: how do I do that?
Thanks!
Thomas

Thank you, Keri! Will try this at once.

I'd also ping Marty (@aimclear) on Twitter, as he could probably point you towards some information.

Perfect, thanks Jen!

Hey Thomas!
There used to be a tag in FBML you could use, but now that it's in iFrames I haven't tried to set one up. I have heard talk of http://www.facebook.com/revealtab though, which is a way to set up the reveal tab without having to know any code. You might want to check that out.
Hope it helps!
Jen

Best Facebook content to share?
What is the best kinds of things to share on Facebook pages? I read conflicting results on the matter. In my experience memes and funny pictures get the best results. Next is creative art or user generated things. Videos and links to my site, even when they are funny or high quality pieces, get almost no interaction. Videos will basically get ignored and sent out to very few people.

Facebook Timeline Apps
Hello, I was just wondering pretty much what the difference between a static HTML page for your timeline is and what the apps are. Is this something that is going to be wildly popular. What should one focus on when creating these static pages or custom apps? It seems like outreach and insights is going to be big for Timeline as well. What are the best practices for switching over in a timely manner while staying somewhat slightly ahead of the game?
