Linking C Class Blocks Problem
-
Hi
I've just discovered that my client, who has a medical practice, has created a series of micro sites about their doctors (around 10 or so).
The problem is that they're on a shared host with the same C-class, providing no real link benefit at all.
Would it be best to:
A) Look for seperate C class hosts for each site & migrate
B) Recreate the pages on the main site & 301 all doctor micro sites to new pages
C) Leave as is and pursue other link building activites?
Has anyone run into a similar issue before?
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Woj,
I agree with Ryan.

Thanks Ryan - yeah that's what I was leaning towards.. I need to check all the inbound links too
I've already discovered a tonne of duplicate content slaps forehead

My preference is option B.
Google does not like microsites. They are basically a form of internet pollution. I am making the assumption the microsites are serving the primary function of funneling users to your main site.
You can try finding different C blocks, but you are practicing black hat SEO, and you are almost sure to fail. The microsites can be related to the main site in dozens of ways, and even if you take care of the C-block, you will likely miss several other factors.

SEO Problems with Loading to a Subfolder?
A client has a single page app website that shows https://example.com/example when you visit https://example.com . I don't think this is a redirect; I think it's a URL rewrite. My questions: Is this setup common with single page apps? What are the SEO benefits or drawbacks of having a domain's homepage load, rewrite, or redirect to a subfolder?

I mean each page link each page with dropdown navigational menu. ( Menu can be crawled .)
And the other interesting thing is in the image . http://prntscr.com/3q7zp6 He has a level 1 page that has a huge content in it.
But he links every topic of the content with another link which is anchor text link I mean this (http://site.com/level2page.html#part1).
How Google treats this ?
Is there anything wrong with it ? I mean amount of it .
Thank you! 3q7zp60 -
Redirect link from a particular domain
Hi guys/gals, I have a few domains and blogs which I use really for a bit of fun and experimenting. One of the domains (abc.com) wasn't doing much but has a few decent links built to it. I redirected this domain to an active blog (123.com). Here's the problem: There's a particular external link to the homepage of abc.com which drives a lot of traffic but isn't relevant to the content of 123.com which it redirects to, causing a huge bounce rate from this link. Is there a way (maybe using using htaccess) that I can redirect traffic from this one link to another domain completely? I've contacted the owner of the external site but they are unable (or unwilling) to change the link. I hope I haven't lost you all but shout if you need any clarification. Thanks in advance!

Advice on too many onpage links
Hi Just done a 250 crawl on a new site I am working on (still under development), all 250 pages seem to have too many on page links, however they do not have any links I can take away This page, for example, http://empleous.com/gb/store/category/398743/shoes?price=20-50 has (according to moz crawl) 252 links on. Seems a little high. What would be the best way to correct this please? I cannot find that many links. I know there are about 85 links in the menu bar but they are all needed and none of the others can really be replaced either. Thanks Carl
