Title case or lower can URL folders
-
Is it best to have lower case URLs e.g
mydomain.com/hotels-in-london/
or title case like
mydomain.com/Hotels-In-London/
I noticed in the seomoz tools that it would report the above two URLs as duplicate if the site had two links using pointing to each URL

No a custom written CMS, so it should be fairly easy to code.
-
If your CMS doesn't do it then you'll need a rewrite rule, but I'd recommend that you try and sort out the CMS in the first instance.
Are you using a common CMS?

How do you enforce a lower cased URL ? Use canonical tag ?
-
Barry is correct, lower case is best.
lower and upper are diffecne urls a coanonical issue.
-
Lowercase, every time.

URL Structure for Blog
Hi guys, Hope you are all doing well today. I have a questions with regards to our blog URL structure. The URL for the blog is /blog - however when you click on a blog post the "/blog" disappears completely and is replaced by the title of the post. So it is ".com/title-of-post" for example. Would it be better to keep the blog subdomain in the URL so it is ".com/blog/title-of-article" Any insight would be appreciated. My thoughts are that surely the second option above is ideal? Thanks Tom

Wordpress Duplicate Pages/ URL's - Help !
Hi guys, I have been running SEOMoz for just over a month and slowly cleaning up one of my Wordpress Blogs. While going through the crawl reports I have noticed that I have duplicate pages showing on the crawl. For example, the main post would be; www.xxxxx.com/blog/post-title Then I see another URL which would be; **www.xxxx.com/blog/page/59 ** When I click on either URL it goes back to the actual post title URL. What's with these page URL's ? Isn't these two URL's showing duplicate content to the search engines ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can un-unique content damage my rankings?
Hi there, I run a blog @ http://ablemagazine.co.uk We produce our own editorial content for our print magazine. Which means I have a great bank of uniquely written content. I can usually afford to post 1-2 completely 100% unique articles a day. I've also been copy/pasting 2-3 articles from the BBC or The Guardian a day to keep up activity. Should I continue doing what I'm doing? Should I post exclusively unique articles? Thanks
