What is the typical response rate and success rate for email link requests?
-
What is considered the normal response rate and success rate of acquiring a link through email link requests?
-
It would depend on two things.
1. did they received your email?
2. Did they even bother opening and reading your email at all?
If you're able to satisfy the ones above then chances are you are almost 50% in having a good link.

...... it depends!
It depends on the industry you are targeting, the quality of your link requests (personalised, relevant etc.), how many sites you are targeting and their status in the industry, what the other players are doing and probably lots of other things...
I would be really hesitant to put a number on it, because it is depending on all these things. However, if you are writing personalised requests to relevant sites, and are offering some value to those you are requesting links from, then I'd say 1 in every 2 or 3 is a good hit rate to aim for initially if you want a target.

What are the pros and cons of using a link builder? Can link building be outsourced?
Hi, I have great content on my website which I would like to build external links to from other websites. I am told this will increase my domain authority and ultimately help search engine ranking positions. I have very limited time in my hands and now thinking of outsourcing the link building component to a specialist. Is this a good way of doing it? Could you recommend professional link builders?

Minimum Link Qualifications
I'd like to get everyone's thoughts about the minimum quality/authority thresholds that you look for in link-building. What is the minimum PA/mR/mT/DA/DmR/DmT that you like to see before investing time in acquiring a link? At what point is the link not worth the effort (or, in the case of a directory listing, the cost) of acquiring it?

Link Frequency
I understand that good link building is all about the quality of the link / the anchor text attached to it. But, what about frequency? Should I build until I can't build anymore? or create a plan to submit links to a certain # of sites per week/month?
