How to create GA Profile for SEOMoz
-
Hi !
I get this :
Oh No! We did not find any Google Analytics profiles associated with this account.
So I was wondering how to create GA Profiles for SEOMOZ. I'm admin of 3 websites in my GA accounts ...
Thanks !

Indeed ! Everything is fixed !
Pretty scary, I though it was me that did something wrong right from the start !

Hi Frederic,
Everything should be fixed now. Go ahead and hook it up, and let us know if you see any problems, but things seem to be working just fine now.
-
Cool, make sure you tell us when it's operationnal ... I'm on a 30 days trial atm and without GA integration I'm not getting the real SEOmoz experience ...
-
Cool, I have the same problem, looks like you guys are on it as per usual
-
There is a bug that's being worked on right now, and I think a fix will be out within the next day.
Often I'll find Q&A questions indexed in less than an hour. Google tends to be pretty speedy with their indexing of this section.

I did a search for
Oh No! We did not find any Google Analytics profiles associated with this account.
and I was pretty surprised to see that this post is from just several hours ago! I too am having this exact same issues, so perhaps there is a bug.

Please email [email protected] and let us know via the help desk. There may currently be a glitch with this right now, and opening a ticket (via the help email) will help us track it down. Thanks for doing that, and so sorry for the difficulties you're having.

Send a message to seomoz team and they will help you very fast. Even I had the same problem the first time when I tried it

HTML snapshot creating soft 404
Has anyone any experience with HTML snapshots? We have a recruitment client that has HTML snapshots against all job pages as they are built with AJAX. The pages naturally die after around four weeks (the job vacancy runs out) and whilst the AJAX version of the page hard 404s, the HTML snapshot version returns a soft 404. How can we get it to mirror the dead page with 404 status?

Assessing Link Profiles
Hi Guys, When doing a link cleanup, it can be sometimes hard to tell, how a link got there (i.e is it natural or not). Apart from spammy directories, blog comments and forum profiles, some link exchanges could have been done naturally with just very good outreach. If you were looking at this one:- http://5startemplates.com/communications_links(4).html Would you say remove if I know they have definitely taken part in link exchanges (their link profile seems to suggest they have) or just change it to a brand/url. This sites rankings have been tanking due to duplicate content and possibly (although not definitely) a penguin update too. Any advice would be great! Kind Regards Neil

Mest method of creating internal links
I am curious, what is the best way to link things from an SEO perspective 1. Full Path; http://yoursite.com/links/alink/ 2. Absolute Path /links/yourlink/ 3. Relative Path ../yourlink/ Just curious if there has been any quantifiable data on this. Thanks Zach

Do Seomozers recommend sitemaps.xml or not. I'm thoroughly confused now. The more I read, the more conflicted I get
I realize I'm probably opening a can of worms, but here we go. Do you or do you not add a sitemap.xml to a clients site?

While SEOMoz currently can tell us the number of linking c-blocks, can SEOMoz tell us what the specific c-blocks are?
I know it is important to have a diverse set of c-blocks, but I don't know how it is possible to have a diverse set if I can't find out what the c-blocks are in the first place. Also, is there a standard for domain linking c-blocks? For instance, I'm not sure if a certain amount is considered "average" or "above-average."

When creating articles what are the rules of thumb for titles and url links.
For example lets say I'm looking to rank for “Window Glass Replacement”. What kinds of articles should I create for this? Does it matter? Should I create articles such as How to know if your windows need replacement, then have the text in my link say “Window Glass Replacement.” Should I try and vary the link name? Should I vary the titles of my articles, or just make sure the content is different?
