Schema for Services
-
There are many schemas for products, but I don't see any for services. They have intangible offers, but it's still for selling a product. I contacted Schema.org an no response. Here is the schema: http://schema.org/Offer
So my question for someone who sells a service: What is the schema for a service like insurance, shipping, financial services?
-
Well i have only just done so a few daya ago, and have nort been shown in google yet, but it worked fine in Google rich snippt tool.
I assume that is what is you should use as there is no services schema
-
Did you find using product schema for your services made a difference?
-
I also used the same (product) for my seo services in Cyprus.
-
I used the product schema for services,
you should also look at AggregateOffer for when you have a price range.

Several Items in the Organization schema structured file
Hi MOZ community! Could you please help me with the issue? I have implemented Organization Schema on the website. But according to the structure I can not markup data once. So now I have 2 Items for a Organization schema on a page. The questions are: 1. Does Google consider both of them? 2. Is that OK to have a few Items for one type of schema on the page? Thank you

Schema Markup Errors - Priority or Not?
Greetings All... I've been digging through the search console on a few of my sites and I've been noticing quite a few structured data errors. Most of the errors are related to: hcard, hentry and hatom. Most of them are missing author & entry-title, while the other one is missing: fn. I recently saw an article on SEL about Google's focus on spammy mark-up. The sites I use are built and managed by vendors, so I would have to impress upon them the impact of these errors and have them prioritize, then fix them. My question is whether or not this should be prioritized? Should I have them correct these errors sooner than later or can I take a phased approach? I haven't noticed any loss in traffic or anything like that, I'm more focused on what negative impact a "phased approach" could have. Any thoughts?

Is it worth adding schema markup to articles?
I know things like location, pagination, breadcrumbs, video, products etc have value in using schema markup. What about things like articles though? Is it worth all the work involved in having the pages mark up automatically? How does this effect SEO, and is it worthwhile? Thanks, Spencer

Opengraph or Schema.org - What is your preference?
Just wondering whether Mozzer's have a preference when marking up rich snippets. I have just added Opengraph as per a Whiteboard Friday presentation suggesting that Google will use the meta data as well as schema, mainly for purposes of socially sharing the website details, and I have also used Schema for marking up an address, telephone number, and email. Is this the right way to do things? What are your thoughts?

Microformats & Schema.org query
Just finished watching the Microformats & Schema.org webinar (thanks for a good presentation Richard) and picked up some interesting tips. It did get me thinking about ways I could use them with a couple of ecommerce sites I am working on. At present there are no reviews on the page so cannot add that tag, however the product pages have a facebook like and a tweet option so maybe I could add a tag based around that? Another one I am considering is putting the sizes of the items in one 'available in sizes 12-32' for example as women often ponder if a store will have it in their size. I guess my question is, would these ways of using it be considered too spammy. I note the webinar state using microformats can be useful but there is a risk if they are too spammy etc. Any opinions would be most welcome, Carl

How do i properly combine these two schema's from schema.org
So we're redoing our reviews/testimonials page on our website right now and moving over to the schema.org format as described here: http://schema.org/Review But we would like to combine each of our reviews with a location for which it was reviewed using this: http://schema.org/LocalBusiness What i can't wrap my head around would be the correct syntax? is it just the first block and then the next block? or is there a way of putting the actual physical address within the review page itself? So is this the correct way to do a page full of reviews that are reviewing various physical locations? * <div< span="">itemprop="reviews" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"></div<>* <span< span="">itemprop="name">Value purchase</span<> -* by <span< span="">itemprop="author">Lucas</span<>,* <meta< span="">itemprop="datePublished" content="2011-03-25">March 25, 2011</meta<>* <div< span="">itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"></div<>* <meta< span="">itemprop="worstRating" content = "1"/></meta<>* <span< span="">itemprop="ratingValue">4</span<>/* <span< span="">itemprop="bestRating">5</span<>stars* <span< span="">itemprop="description">Great microwave for the price. Can anyone recommend a good UK service provider for Dedicated Servers?
Hi, we have just had a shocking experience moving from shared hosting to a dedicated server with a very large service provider. Our website slowed down, the server has been down more times than up so we have moved back to shared hosting until we can find a supplier that can deliver. nightmare!! If anyone can recommend a good company it would be appreciated. Thanks
