Hi Bob, here's some resources to get you started!
This YouMOz article has some ideas:
15 Smart Ways to Find Guest Posting Opportunities
You can search google for blogs that cover the same topics as your site that accept guest posts using queries like:
finance coaching blog "guest post"
There's more about using google to find guest blogging opportunities here: 3 Smart Google Search Tips to Hunt for Guest Post Opportunities
You could try searching twitter. A great way to do this is to use followerwonk to search people's bios. You could do searches like:
nlp coach blog
Take a look at what others are doing, see if they have their own blogs that might accept guest posts or even if they don't you may be able to find out where they are guest posting.
Think about where your potential audience are going to hang-out too. If you can get guest posts infront of them and get some direct qualified referral traffic to you site then this can be even better. You may find that people arriving through this channel convert better.
Remember that guest blogging isn't just about getting those backlinks. It's a great way to build your reputation/authority and position yourself in your chosen niche.
Again, hope this helps.

I changed it up, it's a little better now.
How do I find the "lots of opportunities to guest post"?
Thanks Doug!

I'll check out SiteTuners CEO. Thanks again EGOL! You're one of the best!
-
Thank you for such good suggestions. I have a lot to learn.
-
You could hire a conversion optimization company such as SiteTuners. They can help you improve your site and your sales pages for better conversion. Or you can read Tim Ash's book (SiteTuners CEO) "Landing Page Optimization" and try to do it yourself.
Or, the best approach is what I did... read the book twice, attend landing page optimization workshop, work on the project yourself, then have them help you kick it up a notch.
It will probably not cost as much as you think. Just have them to a study and recommend and then two one hour on the phone with you sessions.
-
I would like to help you through a suggestion. The right approach to gain more conversion rate is to get the target audience to your site. To get target audience to your site, you should select the right keywords for your site. Try choosing those keywords which are best suited to the service that you offer. I hope this is a helpful answer to you.

Hi Bob,
Just some quick thoughts, please don't take anything here as criticism!
My first impression when visiting the site is that it's "a lot about Bob" and not much about "me!" I would suggest that you open with a clear proposition so people instantly get what's in it for them when the hit your site.
Try to take an external perspective and think about your site from your customers perspective. (Have you got a clear understanding of the type of people your customers are?)
What are the problems/needs of your target audience? You need to write content that targets those needs. (They don't need "Bob.")
Can you answer: "Is this for me? Am I going to find what I'm looking for?"
You need to explain the benefits of the service/solutions you offer.
Explain the benefits of what you do - why should someone come to you and not the next guy? What makes what you do unique?
What are the concerns that potential customers might have? How can you address these concerns?
Nice clear call to action, with a reason to take action now.
"Free consultation" is nice, but why should I be interested? Your calls to action are right at the top of the page, before you've given someone a reason to call. I don't go onto the internet to get some "free consultation."
"Call now to find out how YOU can take control of YOUR money today!"
The list of outcomes could be a lot more direct and compelling. They feel a little like "features" and I'm not entirely sure I understand what they mean. Can you flip these into more direct benefits - with what that actually mean to the potential customer. (It's useful to ask "why should I care?")
Once you get someone to call for their free consultation - do they convert to customers?
As for link building, I would have thought there would be lots of opportunities to guest post about these kinds of thing? Not only would this get links, but gets you in front of the right eye-balls and builds authority/credibility?
Hope this helps!

Should I have multiple websites for my different brands or one main website with different tabs/areas?
My client creates apps. As well as the apps they create themselves, they have made some of their own that cover various different topics. Currently they have individual websites for each of these apps, and a website for their app making business. They are asking whether they should just have one website - their app building site, which also includes information about the two apps they've built themselves. My feeling is it's better to keep them separate. The app building site is trying to appeal to a B2B audience and gain business to build new apps. AppA is trying to help carehomes and carers to streamline their business, and AppB is trying to help workplace and employee welfare. Combining them all will mean lots of mixed messaging/keywords even if we have dedicated areas on the site. I also think it will limit how much content we can create on each without being completely overwhelming for the user. If we keep them all separate then we can have a very clear user journey. I would of course recommend having blog posts or some sort of landing page to link to AppA and AppB's websites. Thoughts? Thank you!

How to manage user profiles in your website?
We have a real estate website in which agents and builders can create their profiles. My question is shall we use h1 or h2 tags in business profile pages or make them according to web 2.0 standards? In case header tags are used, if two agents have the same name and we have used h2 tag for them, then search result page will end up having two same h2's. Can someone please tell me the right way to manage business profiles in a website? Thanks

When I crawl my website I have urls with (#!162738372878) at the end of my urls
When I crawl my website I have urls with (#!162738372878) at the end of my urls. I used screaming frog to look check my website and I seen these. My normal urls are in there too, but each of them have a copy with this strange symbol and number at the end. I used a website builder called homestead to make the website and I seen a bunch of there urls in my crawl as well - http://editor.homestead.com/faq is an example I recently created a new website with their new website builder and transferred it to my old domain. However, I didnt know they didnt offer 301 redirects or canonical tags(learned about those afterwards) and I changed my page names. So they recommended I leave the old website published along with the new website. So if I search my website name on google, sometimes both will show in the results. I just want to sort this all out somehow. My website is www.coastlinetvinstalls.com Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Phasing in new website - new content on www2
Hi Mozzers, I'm working on a large website redesign / redevelopment project. New sections of the website will be phased in over the next 12 months. The plan is to launch all new content on a subdomain (www2.domain.com) while the old site remains on www.domain.com. There will be no duplicate content across the www and www2 sites, as old content will be removed on www as it is replaced with new content on www2. 301 redirects will also be setup from old content on www to new content on www2. Once the new site on www2 is complete, everything will be moved to www, with a robust 301 redirect setup in place. Is this approach logical, and can you see any SEO implication for managing the migration in this way? Thanks!

Website completely delisted - reasons?
Hi, I got a request from a potential client as he do not understand why his website cannot be found on Google. I've checked that and found out that the complete website is not listed (complete delist) at all - expect just one pdf file.

I've checked his robots.txt - but this is ok. I've checked the META Robots - but they are on index, follow ... ok so far. I've checked his backlinks but could not found any massive linking from bad pages - just 6 backlinks and only four of them from designdomains.com which looks like a linklist or so. I've requested access to their GWT account if available in hope to find more infos, but does anyone of you may have a quick idea what els it could be? What could be the issue? I think that they got delisted due to any bad reason ... Let me know your Ideas 🙂 THANX 🙂 Sebi0 -
Website/SEO Audit Needed
We've been outsourcing our link building to India for the past 3 years and the results were pretty good up until beginning of this year. What they were essentially doing is putting links into directories, a few per month, and posting a few articles per month. Out of our top 10 keywords, 8 got into top 10. Then something happened around Jan 1 last year, our ranking started dropping, falling out of the top 50, before settling around 20-30ish. We disavowed most of the low quality links since then. Also, very odd, all the top ranking competitors all fell (including me) and were replaced by less "specialized" companies who sold a broad range of products (for example: all parts of the car, rather than someone who just focused on mufflers). Theres also other differences but again I can't put a finger on it. I'd like to find someone who can do a detailed audit of our site, and our competitors, what happened to cause the drop, and why the new top positions sites are ranked high. And I really don't have time to do an audit myself. Our site is American Hospitality Furniture dot com. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
