Should infographic relate to the niche?
-
There's been a lot of talk about using good infographics for natural inbound links and I'm curious if they should be related to the niche or can be just about anything?
I mean I know it makes no sense to have a fun page about cats if you're selling cooking dishes online but I want to hear some input.
What do you think?

That's what I figured. Thanks for your opinion.

Hi cgman,
Think about an infographic as a good tool for creating a content that can easily drive in lots of inbound links for your website. The question should be then placed in a different style: Do you want to have inbound links from a lot of non-niche related websites? Or you would like to be related as possible to your niche?
This should answer your question

What to do with high-traffic pages that are not related to e-commerce?
Hello folks! We run a webshop selling wine and spirits, which obviously serves the purpose to generate revenue. To add further value to our customers, we have a section on the site, suggesting food recipes. The main purpose of that section is to inspire and educate about how wine and foods can be combined. Rankings are getting higher on "important" keywords for our business, in terms of products and product categories. However, the recipe pages, which are less important, are getting much more organic traffic. So here comes my question: Having "less important" pages that do not convert in terms of purchases, but however do get loads of organic traffic, what could I do with these pages, in terms of SEO? Could they be used to pass link juice to other, more "important" pages, that we actually want to rank on? Thanks!

Are these directory links also count as paid links? Is it bad for SEO? I saw some popular wedding sites put their sites there too. BTW, is Yahoo , botw or business.com directory treated as paid link? Thanks, Hon

Example of a service site using 100% white hat tactics in a competitive niche
Could someone show me an example of a service site that is using 100% content generation/brand building tactics in a boring niche? such as plumbing/electrical/movers, etc. All I see are paid nav/footer links, profile spam, directory submissions etc ranking in every niche. I'm looking for a specific example. Any site will do.

Can you dominate a niche with just guest posts?
Hypothetically, if your competitors in a niche have 100 linking domains from medium authority sites and you were able to publish guest posts on 200 relevant sites with medium authority, what do you think would happen? Would you dominate your competition?

Reciprocal linking with same niche in another country
I was wondering if it was still a viable strategy to pull up 'your keyword' on google.uk or google.au, and email all the top ranking sites or call them and personally ask them to reciprocally link to you. Do these links still hold any value in google's eyes? Or is this a well known strategy that no longer holds any weight and is a waste of time?

Looking for Excellent Infographic Designers
I'm looking for recommendations for excellent infographic designers. They can be located anywhere, charge hourly or project based...as long as they are fluent in writing English, can show some examples of past work, and charge a reasonable rate, that's all we need. I've looked at Elance and Odesk and Craig's List, but what I really want is a recommendation from someone who has actually used the designer they're recommending and had a great experience. A designer who can do the research and ideation in addition to the actual design would be ideal.

Need ideas to get do follow links from highly competative niche "wedding"
I need to get high quality do-follow links and my target market/keyword is ‘Maui wedding’ and a few others. Because it is such a competitive market I am having a hard time getting links from local companies providing Maui Weddings (I know why because they are my competitors) and national companies sites aren't much help because they are trying to provide leads to their advertisers. I would like do-follow links from non-paid sources any ideas or resources you could help with would be much appreciated. Thanks.

High PR vs Low PR and Relative
My main question is if you had a choice between a PR 7 site and a PR 4-5 site that was relative and related to your website content, which would be a better choice? Does relativeness matter anymore?
