For SEOMoz Staff - Can You Make a Better Referral Badge, PLEASE?
-
I am going to send referrals to SEOMOZ and I want to put a badge on my site with my referral link from this page: http://www.seomoz.org/users/referrals
Can you make some banners where we can just select an image src with a call to action like "FREE SEO Tools" and "Free 30 Day Trail"? Currently the only badges I see say something wack like "I Love SEOMOZ" http://www.seomoz.org/dp/badges I need something that converts higher than "I love SEOmoz".
Love yah guys!

Hey Francisco!
You are correct we have both. The affiliate program is designed for non-PRO members, and opens us up to working with networks of sites that are closely related to ours. The payout is $25 per lead.
The referral program is really meant for existing PRO members, and helps us reward our PRO members for recommending us to clients, friends, etc. The payout is $100 credit to your account.
The idea here is that we believe both PRO members and non-PRO members can have friends, visitors, etc. that might be interested in PRO. We wanted there to be options for sending qualified leads our way. We believe in rewarding anyone who mentions us, hence both options.
hope that helps clear it up!

Ahhh Joanna! I think you opened a can of worms! LOL
Now I'm confused. Are you saying that SEOmoz has a "Referral Program" and an "Affiliate Program"?
http://www.seomoz.org/dp/seomoz-pro-affiliate-program ($25 whether they join or not)
http://www.seomoz.org/users/referrals ($100 credit past 30 days)
Unless SEOMOZ really wants me to refer a personal friend (I don't have any friends) shouldn't the "referral" and "affiliate" program be the same program?

Hey Francisco this is a great idea. We actually have a number of badges in the affiliate program platform but have yet to integrate them with the Referral Program. I'd like even more to have custom badges for the Refer A Friend program, but this is going to take a little bit given our design resources and dev resources (we'd need to integrate them into our internal platform}. Let me talk to a few people and see if I can't get this prioritized for Q1. At the least feel free to make a badge that you like and send over to me - [email protected] and we can try to approve something on a temporary basis to keep you afloat until we can get more formalized options in there.
Thanks for the suggestion, its a great reminder to build these out!

Not provided Data in SEOMoz reports
Hi How do SeoMoz reports deal with 'not provided' data I see my total visits from organic search for a month are same as total of both my branded and non branded keyword traffic combined yet GA is reporting 157 visits from non provided data so is SEOMoz being very clever and finding a way to decipher this not provided data and allocate it accordingly in the reports ? Or if not what ? Many Thanks Dan

Hello, We target french countries and it seems IP server location is important. So we took some hosting at Planete Hoster (located in Canada) with French IP, but our seomoz toolbar says our website is located in Canada 😞 See: http://www.aupaindantan.fr/ Could you please explain? do we need to change the hoster and to take one in France or this one is ok? Thank you for your answer

Could SEOMOZ make a tool thats connected directly to Webmaster Tools?
Could SEOMOZ make a tool that Crawls Internal Links that's connected (or crawls) directly from Webmaster Tools? (So link metrics on our domains would get updates more often) This would eliminate the cost of crawling the entire internet. I hate having to wait a month to see updates on my domain metrics and links. I would like to see updates regularly on my own domain. I understand you can just look at Webmaster tools to see your latest links but they don't have any link metrics. So it’s difficult to see your best links. If this already exists please refer me? Otherwise please show your support for this being developed?

FB Shares in SEOmoz Keyword Analysis Tool
Hello everybody, I'm quite confused in how to understand "FB Shares" in SEOmoz Keyword Analysis Tool Report. As You may know, this section is under report's "Social Signals" category. Does this number counts whole FB shares of some website links by ALL FB users? Or is it a number of some website FB account posts? Some clearance would be very helpful.. The same question applies to other social signal reports: Tweets, Google+ shares. Thank You for your answer! Happy New Year!
