Time on page: What happens when I open many tabs?

Hello everyone,
I was studying Analytics, and checked that the time on page is calculated by the diference of the time you entered the page and when you click to go to another one.
But how the time is calculated when I open several links using new tabs in different moments?
Does Google counts the last tab? Just a guess...

In calculating time on site, the last pageview does not factor into the equation. It is true, as Vahe said, that the session will end at 30 mins. But the last pageview never gets a time on page # and is not factored into the time on site #.
All time on site/page calculations depend on the next pageview (still within the same session). One odd example to consider: I click a link on a page. Open a new tab and surf elsewhere. I come back to that original tab and click onto the next page BEFORE 30 mins have elapsed (without starting a new session, otherwise). In that case, the original pageview has a very long time on page.

After 31 mins it will be counted just as an additional visitor not a unique visitor

Are you talking about multiple sites in multiple tabs or just opening several tabs from the same site? It should count your separate tabs as one visit opening all those pages.

"Not enough data for selected time period" - Google My Business Insights
Hello All, Has anyone come across the following message "Not enough data for selected time period" when they choose a time frame in Google My Business (GMB) for one week. It seems to be consistent with "Customer Actions" and "Where Customers View Your Business on Google sections. I'm confused because I am pulling in a minimum of 500 searches a week according to the "How customers search for your business" section. I can scroll over top of each day in these areas and manually write down the results, but what's the point of offering a 'one week" insight if it won't calculate for you. If anyone has had the same issue or knows what's going on, please let me know. Thanks!

In Google Analytic Experiment I want to Judge Performance of Page Along with Pageviews, Bounces, Transaction etc
Hi All, For my ecommerce site for mobile site category page I have redesign the page in 2 different ways so one original page and 2 new designs. Now I want to do A/B testing with google experiment. I want to measure performance of page via pageviews, bounce rate, exit rate, conversion rate, add to basket etc. Now in objective for this experiment I can select anyone thing either Pageviews, or bounces or transaction or goal. So my query is 1) I cannot select all objective together? 2) or for same page I have to create too many experiments by selecting each objective? 3) exit rate or add to basket objective is not in experiment list so? Thankyou page tag configuration while implementing enhance ecommmerce
Hello guys, Currently i am tracking conversion in google analytic via google tag manager by doing following configuration in tag manager :- "Page URL Contains thankyoupage.html" But now i am implementing Enhance Ecommerce with tag manager with following configuration : - Custom event - "Event equals Transaction" So i want to ask if i configure "Event equals Transaction" while implementing enhance ecommerce do i have to delete this configuration "Page URL Contains thankyoupage.html" which i am using currently? How can you add a rel canonical tag if you haven't created the wrong pages?
For one of our white paper campaigns we are getting multiple URL's some how but we only have one version of the page. So do I put the rel canonical tag on that one single page? Will that fix the other url's from being indexed? I'm assuming people are typing in the urls with underscores and capital or non-capital letters and it's showing up that way in analytics. Thanks!

Magic UVs - PPC landing pages delivering organic traffic by magic...
I have checked and double checked this. GA is showing over the last couple of weeks mysite.com/ppc/landingpage1 as a landing page for organic traffic, where it shouldn't. Main facts: The entire /ppc/ folder is blocked from the googlebot, and doesn't appear on any internal site maps. As far as I can tell, these pages have never been cached for the main index. I cannot recreate any of the organic searches myself (i.e. typing in keywords that triggered the traffic, even the almost unique long-tail ones). We just don't appear in the organic listings with these pages. The analytics and adwords accounts are linked. We are not paying for this mystery traffic through our PPC - these keywords are not appearing in our AdWords account (though other keywords / traffic are). The traffic is real - we have received phone calls from these pages, tracked to the visits recorded as organic These pages should only receive PPC traffic. They are receiving organic traffic also, but I can't recreate it. Can anyone suggest what's going on? I'm concerned about duplicate content issues and also skewing the analysis of the PPC campaign.
