API callback parameter
-
I'm using the free API, and would like to use jQuery to fetch the JSON data outputted by the API.
I need to make a JSON-P request, and for this I need to be able to pass some form of callback parameter in the url.
I'd like to know if this feature is available, and if so what parameter I need to specify in my request.
Of course I could just CURL to the API, but that's really a fallback for if I can't get the data using JS.
Thanks

Hey there!
Just want to make sure I'm understanding what you're trying to do - basically you're hoping to use jQuery to send requests to the API and then fetch the JSON results?
What type of queries are you sending the API? What would the API query look like?
Also, we do have the API Help Forums to post in or search as well - not sure if you've explored these pages, but there could be some helpful information for you there as well!
Thanks!
Carin

Duplicate Site Content found in Moz; Have a URL Parameter set in Google Webmaster Tools
Hey, So on our site we have a Buyer's Guide that we made. Essentially it is a pop-up with a series of questions that then recommends a product. The parameter ?openguide=true can be used on any url on our site to pull this buyer's guide up. Somehow the Moz Site Crawl reported each one of our pages as duplicate content as it added this string (?openguide=true) to each page. We already have a URL Parameter set in Google Webmaster Tools as openguide ; however, I am now worried that google might be seeing this duplicate content as well. I have checked all of the pages with duplicate title tags in the Webmaster Tools to see if that could give me an answer as to whether it is detecting duplicate content. I did not find any duplicate title tag pages that were because of the openguide parameter. I am just wondering if anyone knows:
Moz Pro | | MitchellChapman
1. a way to check if google is seeing it as duplicate content
2. make sure that the parameter is set correctly in webmaster tools
3. or a better way to prevent the crawler from thinking this is duplicate content Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Mitchell Chapman

Difference between SEOmoz Pro and Mozscape API
Hi, I probably put this question in a wrong category, so I'd like to ask again. I am new in SEOmoz and writing this from Japan.
Moz Pro | | flaminGoGo
I have couple of questions and really appriciate if you can help me to understand SEOmoz. better. First of all, what is the difference between SEOmoz Pro and Mozscape API? I signed up for 30days free trial and now continue being $99 PROmember.
Is that correct that rate limit is one request every 2 seconds with PRO? and also want to know about free API that I found after signed up for PRO.
Is there any restrictions on free API except for rate limit is one request every 10 seconds? The main reason I signed up for SEOmoz was to use the API link metrics, and because of the language I got really confused now.0 -
Crawl Errors from URL Parameter
Hello, I am having this issue within SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnosis report. There are a lot of crawl errors happening with pages associated with /login. I will see site.com/login?r=http://.... and have several duplicate content issues associated with those urls. Seeing this, I checked WMT to see if the Google crawler was showing this error as well. It wasn't. So what I ended doing was going to the robots.txt and disallowing rogerbot. It looks like this: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow:/login However, SEOmoz has crawled again and it still picking up on those URLs. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks!

SEOmoz API - Links and Anchor Text Calls
Hi, I'm testing out the SEOmoz API - however I'm stuggling to understand the use of the Cols parameter within the "anchor-text" method. I've looped through increasing numbers of "Cols" for a standard query and there just seems to be no logical pattern.

"SourceCols"
"LinkCols" The description here http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/13991141/Links API - is a bit vague It appears that the links API spits out everything anyway - that one's less of an issue. So... could anyone explain how the Anchor-text API parameter Cols works?? Cheers!0
