3-Way Link Exchange Method - Does it Work?
-
Hello People,
I have been searching for a service to help us with our link building and have been talking to a company that uses the 3-Way link exchange method and my question is: Does it work well?
Below I pasted an email from this company explaining their method. Thanks in advance to everyone!
===============================
Our success rate is about 80%. For one way links, we use 3 way link exchange method for making links. Suppose your site is A. My website is B. My friends website is C and friend's client's site is D. I will add a link on B linking to D and my friend will add a link on C linking to A. This is the procedure we use for making links.
We check the quality of the website before putting link on it. The site will be completely relevant, no spam links will present there and the page will be minimum of PR1.

Any domain that has been around for a long time will have some reciprocal links. Many sites will also have some multi-way links, even if they weren't sought out on purpose. I don't recall ever agreeing to a multiway link, but we have a lot of links, so there may be some that google will identify that way.
You can't control what other people do, only what you do. I don't recommend doing any of those, but if you have a few, I doubt they will hurt you.
Also, and this is where google has a problem, if you link out to another site, and they decided it would be a good thing to pump up the power of your page that links to them, they may have added multiple links or even link wheels to your page, and there is nothing you can do about it.

3 way link exchanges are way out of date.
Even the huge link directories and blogs are getting deindexed.
I would never hire any SEO that even brings that type of outdated crap to my table.

Best way to check/find lost links?
Hi all As everyone, we have seen a decrease of domain authority and external links during the last months. with open site Rand is explaining the reason in this in this post, but I still would like to have a look to the links that in theory I have lost during the last months. I thought Majestic was the best option but I have been trying to get the info and I see nothing clear. When I download the fresh or history links, I only see links that are live (in theory, because in history I get a lot not existing but I can not see it without a manual check). The option of lost links is just giving me 1000 links per day, but after downloading some and checking I see that this lost link report is showing me links that are working (but it looks that majestic couldn't access when they did the crawling and show them as lost). Also the numbers of lost links are totally different if you use fresh or historic... Anyone could recommend me a good way to find out links that I really lost? Thanks

Internal Link Building and Link Juice Quality
Hi There! I manage the website for a law office that covers many geographical locations. For very specific niche content, we would prefer to create one piece of content and link to the various geographic locations where we would handle that topic instead of posting multiple variations of the same content for each specific geographical area. If we put a button on these pages that has links to each location, will that have the same "link juice" effect to the pages we're linking that linking directly in the text would? (example: the Where can we help you? button on this page : http://www.zdfirm.com/volkswagen-recall/) Thank you!

GWT Lists URLs with links to my site, but those URLs don't have links to my site
There are a number of URLs that show up for my website in Webmaster Tools as having links to my site when in fact they don't. I know this to be a fact because I actually wrote some of the sites that Google is saying are linking to my site and I know there isn't any links on the specific pages to that site. For example, the site in question is: https://www.liftproducts.com/ As an example, Google is saying that about 100 URLs from https://www.lift-tables.net/ are linking to it when, I'm fairly confident that there is only 1 link to it found here: https://www.lift-tables.net/info.php?countrytabs=3 Yet Google says links exist on this (and many more) page: https://www.lift-tables.net/liftproducts/max-lift/lpt4w-030-48.php I thought at first it might have been due to linking to a image file directly instead of locally hosting it, but after checking the source, that's not the case. I am also seeing this type of non-linking being reported on sites I have no clue what they are. For example, some Spanish site about tandem bicycles is being listed as linking to liftproducts.com: http://206-225-85-34.dedicated.abac.net/tandem/inc Yet I can find no evidence of an actual link existing. Am I missing something here? Any insight of why this is happening and how I can clean up my link signature would be appreciated.

What is the number of links do you require your link builder to attain each week or month? What is a reasonable goal?
Hello Mozzers... I would like to get a survey or feedback from other Mozzers who owns an SEO company or manages / hire link builders. **What is the average number of links does your link builder need to attain per week or month? what is their goal? ** I understand quality over quantity but I want to make sure there is a reasonable average to provide them goals and something to achieve on. Of course reward them more if they exceed or get .edu links. What do you institute? What do you think is fair and achievable per website? PS. There is no right or wrong answers here. I am looking for a measurable answer not subjectable. Again just gathering MEASURABLE GOALS.

Which is better - A) links from multiple IP addresses, or B) Links with more associated social signals?
If you had to choose: A) 100 links contained in posts on 100 PR2* blogs, all on separate IP addresses, where none of the posts had associated social signals, or B) 100 links contained in posts within a single PR2* blog (single IP address), where each of the posts had 20 associated social signals, Which would you choose to increase your SERP performance? *I chose PR2 so that PageRank would not be a factor in the decision.

Link Exchange - Would this work?
Hi - So I recently thought of linkbuilding and the right way to do it. After trying a couple of methods I realized that good and trustworthy websites are hard to find, and even those ask you for some kind of payment. So my option would be to contact foreign SEO agency - that would logically have a big portfolio of websites from a lot of different domains and establish partnerships - find solutions. Giving that we are in different countries and we operate different websites we could really make a great job without paying attention to competition on the same nieche. This idea came to me a couple of minutes ago, and I though it would be great to ask your opinion, and who knows - maybe we can even have a partnership - especially since I believe SEOmozzers are the best 😄 What do you think?

Do you think 3-way link exchanges help in keyword rank and overall PR authority?
I know traditional link exchanges aren't very valuable and Google doesn't respect them as much, but what about 3-way link exchanges?

Can a reciprocal link turn into a one way if you no-follow?
If you create a list of links to top blogs in your industry but no-follow all the links, and they link to your list, will that count as a reciprical link or a one-way link by search engines?
