I am trying to correct duplicate content. However SEOmoz only reports and shows the page of duplicate content.
I have 5 years worth of blogs and cannot find the duplicate page.
Is my only option to just delete the page to improve my rankings.

You can also confirm duplicate content (titles, descriptions and URLs) with either;
- Google webmaster tools - they will tell you most all errors you need to take action on
- screaming frog seo spider
You can also check out this post I just did about WordPress SEO to get some more in depth info on finding duplicate issues with WordPress blogs (I assume you're on WordPress).
Thanks!!

I have always published multiple updated blogs with new information under the same individual category.
I know google likes curent information however do i need to do a new category when I want to write new info about the same topic

If you have lots of duplicate content, the chances are your url structure is causing it in which case the problem will return with every blog post, so deleting is probably not the answer.
Check the obvious things like is it caused by having a www. and non-www. version, if it accessable via diffrent capatalisation, and fix any related issues.
The other common things to check are tag and catagory pages which can easly end up looking exactly the same. Fix what you can before deleting the content, else you risk masking the problem.

Thousands of 404-pages, duplicate content pages, temporary redirect
Hi, i take over the SEO of a quite large e-commerce-site. After checking crawl issues, there seems to be +3000 4xx client errors, +3000 duplicate content issues and +35000 temporary redirects. I'm quite desperate regarding these results. What would be the most effective way to handle that. It's a magento shop. I'm grateful for any kind of help! Thx,

Too Many On-Page Links on a Blog
I have a question about the number of on-page links on a page and the implications on how we're viewed by search engines. After SEOmoz crawls our website, we consistently get notifications that some of our pages have "Too Many On-Page Links." These are always limited to pages on our blog, and largely a function of our tag cloud (~ 30 links) plus categories (10 links) plus popular posts (5 links). These all display on every blog post in the sidebar. How significant a problem is this? And, if you think it is a significant problem, what would you suggest to remedy the problem? Here's a link to our blog in case it helps: http://wiredimpact.com/blog/ The above page currently is listed as having 138 links. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks so much. David

Duplicate content
I have just ran a report in seomoz on my domain and has noticed that there are duplicate content issues, the issues are: www.domainname/directory-name/ www.domainname/directory-name/index.php All my internal links and external links point to the first domain, as i prefer this style as it looks clear & concise, however doing this has created duplicate content as within the site itself i have an index.php page inside this /directory-name/ to show the page. Could anyone give me some advice on what i should do please? Kind Regards

Are recipes excluded from duplicate content?
Does anyone know how recipes are treated by search engines? For example, I know press releases are expected to have lots of duplicates out there so they aren't penalized. Does anyone know if recipes are treated the same way. For example, if you Google "three cheese beef pasta shells" you get the first two results with identical content.
