Has anyone attended the Pubcon conference in the past? Do you recommend it?

What will I learn?
-
I have been attending Pubcon in Las Vegas every year since 2003. I have only missed 1 or 2. Also, Pubcon is the only conference I have attended.
What I'd say about Pubcon is that I look forward to it every year, year after year. It's a busy 3-4 days conference. Usually 6-10 sessions running concurrently and the topics vary from On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, Paid Search, Affiliate, Conversion Optimization, Social Media and so on. There are usually around 100+ sessions in total to choose from.
Overall a great event to attend.
What will you learn ? Well, that's a tough one to answer. Usually I don't go to conferences and expect something to learn other then meet a lot of nice people in different industries. Sometimes you talk to people, hear out speakers and see them talk about specific strategies they use or specially the tools. I love the tools part. There's always something new to learn in the SEO Tools area. Other then that, talking with people and attending sessions kind of gives you a very broad/but in-depth overview of where the industry is moving, whats going on in the world of search.
I also have Mozcon/Distilled/SMX Advanced/SES to the list of conferences I would consider attending based on timing and budget.
I hope this helps.

Can anyone share an example of a search strategy they've created?
New year, new plans. I'm currently working on outlining a search strategy for my company's marketing team. I'm primarily in charge of SEO but I'm working closely with our SEM and Content Marketing teams to build out a more holistic, integrated set of goals and initiatives for us all to work with. Does anyone have any good examples of a search strategy they've done in the past // a template they've worked with? I have a pretty good idea of what I want to include but would love to see how others have approached this + get some inspiration.

Anyone have experience with RISE awards?
We have had paid interns for years at our firm and now have begun doing code camps. As the result of these and attending STEM conferences, we have found an organization that really is helping a lot of lower socioeconomic kids get to College. I won't tout them yet, but they have a very good track record and I am a big skeptic of these type organizations. I want to know that the people who are supposed to be helped are getting that help and these people are delivering. On top of that they are the kind of people (those running the organization) that I never see in non profits. They are truly engaged, very bright and they worked their butts off. Not all of their kids are STEM kids and we are wanting to create a bit of a sub group with them for kids who would have interest or whose interests can be stimulated in or for STEM educations. Google seems to be very proactive with getting girls and minorities more interested in the STEM fields and I have to applaud them. They also do the RISE Awards and they seem to have a lot less of the reporting requirements that can bog down (and make entrepreneurs run) the process. Have any of you Mozzers got firsthand experience/knowledge re the RISE awards? We want to assist this group in applying for one and any help will be appreciated. Thanks,

Where can I get all of the slides from Mozcon '13? I attended.
I heard several people on the Moz team and on the Speaker list mention that the slides would be available after the conference. Does anyone know where I can find them? Thanks!

I need recommendation on an email system for customer service center.
My client has way too many emails coming into his inbox and it's preventing him from closing orders. He wants to be able to split the email load among everyone in sales so he isn't burdened with answering all the emails while his staff sit on their asses. Can anyone recommend a system where emails sent to [email protected] are answered like a customer service system?
