Is there any tool out there which can crawl a section of a website (or whole website) and gives a list of urls by subsections?

I have tried PowerMapper but it only gives visual map, not a list.

You can use Moz, Screaming Frog, Sort Site to get results.

Duplicate page content

Hi Crawl errors is showing 2 pages of duplicate content for my clients WordPress site: /news/ & /category/featured/ Yoast is installed so how best to resolve this ? i see that both pages are canonicalised to themselves so presume just need to change the canonical tag on /category/featured/ to reference /news/ ?(since news is the page with higher authority and the main page for showing this info) or is there other way in Yoast or WP to deal with this & prevent from happening again ? Thin content and tabs on page

I am reviewing a site, and the web designer used tabs to impart information. I think the tabs idea looks great, but it leaves the page looking thin. Article on site and distribution, is it duplicate content?

I was always taught to place all original articles on site, let them get indexed by Google, then put out for distribution through various press release outlets. With the latest penguin update, how does this practice work out concerning duplicate content? In theory, I wrote the article so I should get credit for it on my site first, then push through various distribution outlets to get it out to my targeted audience in my niche field. Typing out loud I would tend to think if the article is on my site first then I would get credit and any others following would be hit by duplicate content if in fact google considered it a dupe violation. Any input on this? Am I on track or am I heading for a train wreck.

Why does http://www.southernhearth.com rank so well for patio furniture and outdoor furniture?

I was looking at the competitiveness of ranking for the keywords "patio furniture" & "outdoor furniture" and was shocked to see www.southernhearth.com ranking so well. While I am just getting into the research, I was unable to see anything that would justify it's rank. What are your thoughts?

Sitemap generator and /index.htm

I use DMX Zone sitemap generator in Dreamweaver. When generating the sitemap, it includes both http://www.domain.com and http://www.domain.com/index.htm. Should the /index.htm be deleted from the sitemap, or will the 301 redirect take care of that? Best,

Duplicate content on video pages

Hi guys, We have a video section on our site containing about 50 videos, grouped by category/difficulty. On each video page except for the embedded player, a sentence or two describing the video and a list of related video links, there's pretty much nothing else. All of those appear as duplicate content by category. What should we do here? How long a description should be for those pages to appear unique for crawlers? Thanks!

Do product pages need unique content or does having duplcate content hurt on those pages?

We are adding product rapidly to our website but this requires allowing duplicate to exist on our product pages of furniture-online.com. From an SEO standpoint do we need to make this content unique for each product. Since we aren't link building to specific product pages and we don't anticipate product pages being found in a search result, are we ok leaving the duplicate content in place and spending our dollars elsewhere?
