There seems to be a problem with RogerBot and others are reporting problems as well. SEOmoz Community Specialist, Keri Morgret has referred subscribers to go to http://www.seomoz.org/help report the problem.
Exact Quote:
"It does look like we're having some troubles. The best way to report a problem with the app is to contact the help desk rather than Q&A. If you could go to http://www.seomoz.org/helpand click the big red "contact our help team" button at the top right, you'll be taken to a screen where you can let us know that you're having a problem. That'll help us to be able to track it down, and contact you when we have a resolution. Thanks so much!"

When making content pages to a specific page; should you index it straight away in GSC or let Google crawl it naturally?

How does the suggested website functionality work in Safari?
I don't seem to be able to find out much information on this one. Safari often shows a suggested website as you start typing a query into the browser. I've uploaded a screenshot to help show what I mean. safari-suggested-site.png

I built a website on magentogo - IrisScottPrints.com. The seomoz crawl report states 301 rel canonical crawl notices. What if anything should I change?
Wondering if I should remove "IRIS SCOTT PRINTS |" from all the title tags and/or change the url structure of the pages, to not include the breadcrumbs... I don't really understand the whole rel canonical structure thing. Also lots of errors on page title too long - does that really matter? Lots of faith in everyone here. Thanks in advance. Marcia

If you were working on a wine site would you include the wine year in the URL?
I've come across a case where I'm asking myself what the best direction would be to go and while there is no right direction I would like to here some feedback from others. I'm working with some great content pages all about wine. As you probably know the difference between a 07 wine and a 95 is vastly different and up to this point I'm using the full year in the url much like this: grapesinyourtoesexample.com/2007-cellar-pod-viognier-adelaide-hills/. What I'm worried about is my use of the year in the URL. I feel it's very important for it to be used in the page title and on page but I'm concerned that it might be setting me back with my use of it in the url. My concern is that search engines might be interpretting it as a datestamp rather than as a informational piece of data describing the asset. Looking at my competitors, my content is one of the only sites using the year and in most searches for various wines my content is in the second half of the SERPs. If you were creating this content would you use the year? If you were working with current content would you drop the year across all of the site and implement to necessary redirects? Just to be clear this is a client related project so my use of "my site|my content" refers to the client's content.

Does the seomoz crawler that crawls for the onpage reports have a set ip?
I would like to test my site, but its not launched yet and don;t want anybody to see it. But I can allow myself and other to view the site if I have there ip address. So does the seomoz crawler have a static one or range? James

Crawl error: duplicate title for home page
I'm seeing a duplicate title for the home page, both the static file name and the domain. like: http://domain.com
On-Page Optimization | | joshcanhelp
http://domain.com/index.cfm I know how to set this in Google Analytics but how would I make sure this isn't seen as an error? It's accounting for both a duplicate title and duplicate content. Thanks!0
