Added to product title showing the discount, will it affect the product rankings?

I've added the savings info to a few products to see if I get any more visits from google merchant, example; After Party | Save £5.40. will it harm the products ranking or merchant feed?

Yes it does improve CTR on organic search. Regular product pages rely on the content Google crawls (i.e. title and description).
With the hproduct spec you will get price, availability, product category bread-crumb and review information - i.e. your search result will stand out from everyone else.
I have only worked with hproduct and single offers, but I would say that the offeraggregate would allow you to cater for different currencies. A good starting point is http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=146750
Don't use microformats. Microdata/Schema.org is your first choice but RDFa works just as well.
-
Do you have any evidence that microformats increases CTR? My guess is it does, just looking for something more concrete.
If your product is in multi currencies how would you code that in microformats?
-
I think you would get more click-throughs by adding microformats and reviews to your product pages - like this.
The merchant feed specifications are quite strict about not including promotional context in your title (such as "free shipping").

Keyword rankings and main company tagline not matching
I have a question about keywords rankings and on page keywords. I don't rank very well for the keyword "Nutcracker". But, my tag line is "Your one stop Nutcracker and Ballet Gifts source". One of my most important keywords is "Nutcrackers" (see the s 😉 ) and I hot hit really hard in my rankings with the google algorithm update. Almost a 30 position difference from one day to the next. Am I shooting myself in the foot by having Nutcracker being in the forefront, even though my chances of ranking for that are very low as there is high competition with more actual "The Nutcracker" related content. I do have the word "nutcrackers" on my home page...but all of a sudden I feel like i'm wasting space, or I should have made the tagline "Your one stop Nutcrackers and Ballet Gifts source". It just doesn't sound as good. I just recently dove headfirst into SEO and moz, so I consider myself a noob, but I learn quite quickly. Thank you for your help! Is it possible to track rank history
I would like to know is it possible to track a keywords past ranking history? We would like to check the ranking history of some potential vendors, but only get data from the point I add them to Alabs, moz etc. Id like to go back a year to see the trend in their rankings. Is this possible and what tool or process can be used to achieve this. Thanks in advance.

Rankings confusion in pro campaign
Hello Moz-world! I recently set up a new campaign, and the crawl is still in the process of wrapping up (been 4 days). When I look at my rankings it tells me "not in the top 50" then when I scroll over, it shows me that my client is ranking in position 3, in the instance of one keyword. Anyone know why there is a discrepancy between what the report shows, and what it shows when you mouse over the rankings? Thanks! Tyler

Adding LinkedIn to the new Social Media tool
I am loving the new Social Media data that SEOMoz recently added. I am sure more will come soon, but I wondering if they have plans of adding LinkedIn Company pages as apart of a campaign to track. Does anyone have the inside clue about this? Do you think it would be a good idea as well?

Why does open site explorer show me Chinese characters?
Hi there, When using open site explorer to check the anchor text for www.bookvictoriafalls.com I see Chinese characters as anchor text. However, when I do the same for www.bookvictoriafalls.com/ I see normal English anchor text. Coincidentally this domain has dropped from first page rankings to outside the top 50. Is this a spam issue? Open-Site-Explorer.png
