Does Google check Whois
-
Hello everyone,
I own quite a lot of website active in the same niche and sometimes targeting the same keywords, these sites are hosted at different IP's. But they all have the same Whois details, i was wondering if Google checks the Whois-data? And if it affects the serp's?
Regards,
Yannick

Let me answer the question another way. To be honest, Google most likely doesn't look at Whois data - they don't need to (more on this below).
The real question is... Does Google know what websites are associated with you? Do they care? And does this factor into ranking?
The answer to the first question is most likely yes. For one, Google became an ICANN registrar (just like Godaddy) in 2006. This means they have first look access to all newly registered domain names. There are also a million other ways to determine relationships between websites, such as shared IPs, Analytic codes, link patterns and so on.
But do they care? We don't have hard data on this, but Google reps have made comments in the past that links between sites that have an "administrative" relationship aren't as valuable. That's why you see SEOs measuring links from unique C-blocks. (This is one of the metrics in the SEOmoz Competitive Analysis Report).
This is one of the ways Google is able to sniff out link networks. If you own a bunch of sites, and you engage in aggressive inter-linking between these sites, those links are likely not going to count for much, and could even hurt you.
In the end, this means the value of the links from sites you own may not be as strong as links from outside your network. And aggressive interlinking between your sites - especially with aggressive anchor text, could get you in trouble.
Hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO.

What Bryan said. Who-Is is not a factor in the search algorithm.

No. Googles SERP data does not reflect the data on Whois, Google's ranking data has many factors. Whois is not one of them.

Google blocks certain articles on my website ... !
Hello I have a website with more than 350 unique articles, Most of them are crawled by Google without a problem, but I find out certain articles are never indexed by Google. I tried to rewrite them, adding fresh images and optimizing them but it gets me nowhere. Lately, I rewrite an article of those and tried to (fetch and render) through Google Webmasters, and I found this result, can you tell me if there is anything to do to fix that? BMVh4

Google Indexing of Images
Our site is experiencing an issue with indexation of images. The site is real estate oriented. It has 238 listings with about 1190 images. The site submits two version (different sizes) of each image to Google, so there are about 2,400 images. Only several hundred are indexed. Can adding Microdata improve the indexation of the images? Our site map is submitting images that are on no-index listing pages to Google. As a result more than 2000 images have been submitted but only a few hundred have been indexed. How should the site map deal with images that reside on no-index pages? Do images that are part of pages that are set up as "no-index" need a special "no-index" label or special treatment? My concern is that so many images that not indexed could be a red flag showing poor quality content to Google. Is it worth investing in correcting this issue, or will correcting it result in little to no improvement in SEO? Thanks, Alan

AngularJS - How does Google go?
We're rebuilding our entire website in angularJS. We've got it rendering fine in WMT, but does that mean that it's content is detectable? I've looked into prerender.io and that seems like a great solution to the problem of not seeing any static HTML, but is it really necessary? I'm looking into this as I'm having the argument currently with my devs, and they're all certain that Google renders angularJS fine.

PDF Cached by Google, but not showing as link
The following pdf is cached by google: http://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/REFERRAL%20LIST%20OF%20BOND%20AGENCIES_Florida.pdf However, OpenSiteExplorer is not listing any of the links as found in it. With such an authoritative site, I would think Google would value this, right? None of the sites listed rank well though and OpenSiteExplorer's inability to see the links makes me wonder if Google provides these sites any value at all. Is there any link juice or brand mention value here for Google?

Switching from Google Plus Local to Google Plus Business
Greetings, We have a website design firm located in India. We wanted to target customers in our city who are looking for website design locally. And with google plus local and a few content marketing would get us into first page very soon because none in the competition is using social signals or even content marketing. BUT unfortunately from last month even though our Google Places is verified we cant verify our Google Local Plus page https://plus.google.com/b/116513400635428782065/ It just shows error 500. Its a bug and its been a year for people without it being addressed. So we are skeptical if our strategy would work without Google+. At the least we decided we would just make company local page and connect it with website. But it might not have effect as local. So we are still unsure which step to take either to wait for google to fix it.(feedbacks emails calls nothing worked) OR We start the process with Google Business Category.
