How to check why our DA is gradually dropping

Greetings fellow Moz Community, first time asking a question here so kind of excited to be part of the community. I hired an SEO firm about three months ago. They have arranged high ranking DA guest posts for us as well as many other small low DA links. None of these links have any kind of a spam score. However for the past two months they have been helping, our website's DA has actually dropped by one point each month. Is this cause for concern? Any thoughts on how I can trace the drop? On a side-note, out of the 700+ keywords that didn't were ranking in the top 50, about 200 of them now are gone compared to last month. I don't know if this is related or not, but something looks awry.

GSC: Change of Domain Not Processed, Despite Saying "Approved"?

Hi folks, I've just completed a straightforward olddomain -> newdomain migration. All the redirects were done on 7th Feb. I submitted the change of domain request on 7th Feb. All seemed fine - as can be seen in the attached. It's now 19th March and our pals at GSC are still saying that the domain migration is ongoing. I've never had this take so long before; 2-3 days tops. Their results are tanking as I can't geo target and more features in GSC are out of action as it's 'locked' due to this migration (I just get a screen as per the attached). Thoughts? Shall I risk withdrawing the request and starting anew? The old "turn it off and on again"? Thanks! hJXKC

What server issues might cause temporary and repeated Soft 404/500 Errors that appear to be functioning correctly when checked later from Google Webmaster Tools?

We are experiencing unknown server issues (we think) which are causing Soft 404/500 errors at unpredictable times on 2 websites. When we check on the pages, they’re fine but still show errors in Moz/Search Console. What are some measures we can take to protect from this or figure out what is causing this? How to check if an individual page is indexed by Google?

So my understanding is that you can use site: [page url without http] to check if a page is indexed by Google, is this 100% reliable though? Just recently Ive worked on a few pages that have not shown up when Ive checked them using site: but they do show up when using info: and also show their cached versions, also the rest of the site and pages above it (the url I was checking was quite deep) are indexed just fine. What does this mean? thank you p.s I do not have WMT or GA access for these sites

Does anyone knows some info about "teracent-feed-processing" user agent? IP's from which user agent reside: 74.125.113.145, 74.125.113.148, 74.125.187.84 .... In our logs, 2 out of 3 requests are made by it, causing server crash.

HELP! Google Business listing removed - check out my SERP free fall!

Hey Moz Community, I need your help. I have (had) a google local business listing. I made some changes last week to clean it up. Now it's gone and I've had a massive fall in my rankings (see images). Changes I made: I changed the business name from a spammy name: BYOL Graphic Design & Web Design Courses. TO: **Bring Your Own Laptop PTY LTD. ** I added Local business schema to my website. I added my telephone, address etc. Previously it was all an image. I tinkered with a few other things while I was there too but I can't remember them all. Other notes: Initially I blamed the dramatic drop on Hummingbird but after doing some research I'm not so sure. I think it's because I was messing around with Google Local. My listing is/was here: https://plus.google.com/111689574762050943425 (though it doesn't work any more). My website is www.bringyourownlaptop.com.au Questions: Do you think the loss of my Google local listing could be the cause of such a big drop? If it is my Google local listing - Is there a way to find out what I did wrong? Is there a place to ask for it to be re-checked? Is it better to just start again with a new listing? How do I check that domain I'm considering buying has clean history?

I'm weighing up buying a niche-related 13-year-old domain that hasn't expired but hasn't been used in some time. I've read the very informative thread here: www.seomoz.org/q/buying-domains-with-prior-age-and-or-pr The backlink profile is clean, with only on-topic links. However, it doesn't rank in the top 50 positions for its own (hyphenated & fairly competitive) domain name. Does this indicate a Google penalty of some kind? What's the surefire way of checking?

Why do rankings show differentley when checked from different computers

When I check for keyword rankings directly in Google or Bing, I find relatively high ratings. when my client checks at his location, he gets another ranking, much lower. What accounts for the difference?
