How Do You Sell View-Through-Conversions and Remarketing?

Hey Mozzers,
We have a client that has spent $500 on a remarketing trial. This resulted in 4 direct sales with a revenue of $600 and 75 view through conversions. The average sale is about $150.
I presented a report with a best and worst case scenario of the VTCs (that is all VTCs were responsible or no VTCs or some VTCs were a direct result of the remarketing campaign).
The client needed more proof that the VTCs were a direct result of the remarketing - which I did not have.
I know this was a really profitable campaign, but I just cant prove it. Has anyone had any experience with this? Or know of any good blog posts I could read up on?

Hi, Wondering if anyone can recommend how to track B2B conversions when the searcher isn't the one who transacts? I am looking at my Adwords campaigns and I don't think the conversion is 100% right. In our industry, the eventual end user (and the person who does the search) does not have the authority to purchase the product. It is usually the purchasing department who eventually get in contact and purchase the product. Sometimes it is another company on behalf of the original company who purchase the part as we might not be on the vendor list. So, in this case, the order goes from the original searcher to their purchasing department to another company who then purchase from us. Just wondering how to track this on AdWords? Thanks

Set-up remarketing through Analytics or Adwords?
I am setting up a remarketing campaign and wonder if anyone has any thoughts on whether to do this via Analytics or Adwords? Doing it through Analytics appears to be more straight forward - and I like the idea of broadening the data set that comes from an Analytics report. I therefore I wonder if it comes down to personal preference? Would be grateful to any thoughts for or against.

How to track offline conversions
What are the best ways to track offline conversions that have come directly from paid ads such as Adwords? Say for example, John searches for 'luxury armchair' and clicks on one of our ads and is directed to the landing page that sells the luxury armchair. John then calls us and completes the transaction over the phone. How do we know that the advertising channel is responsible for that transaction without physically asking the customer? I know Google provide free forwarding phone numbers which can be provided in the Ads, but if they call us from the phone number we list on the website there is no way of tracking down that exact sale? Google mentions something to do with providing a unique ID, called a "GCLID" but I'm not familiar with this or how it works. Any advice is much appreciated.

Best practice to separate paid from organic conversions in Google Analytics

Google Analytics whose counter is increased every time the thank you page is reached. This way I can track conversions with both AdWords and Analytics. Is that correct? Should I import back in AdWords the goals from Analytics, as suggested in the AdWords account? I have another landing page with a form in the website, where I send users coming from
organic search, so I set up a second goal in Analytics for the thank you page of this form. Is this the reason why I am supposed to import in AdWords the analytics' goals, so that I could see both kind of conversions in both accounts? But the most important question is: If I send both PPC/organic visitors to the same landing page is there still a way to separate PPC from Organic conversions? Thank you very much for your advice. How Can I Increase Conversions from English Speaking Countries in AdWords?
Hello, So here is the gist: Our company provides credit card processing services primarily to e-commerce businesses. I began managing Google AdWords in-house this past April. I started out by not excluding any countries, but received leads from merchants living in countries we could not serve due to risk of fraud. Then, I excluded countries our company could not work with to eliminate unwanted costs. I then took it one step further and targeted only countries our company can serve. My campaigns performed very well. This month, I have been averaging nearly 14 conversions per day. [I should also add that four campaigns are Search and Display, one is remarketing so it is Display only, and two are Search only. Prior to what you will read in the paragraph below, the majority of our conversions came from the Display network, but we had a significantly higher conversion rate with our Search conversions.] However, throughout all of this, we received very few conversion from English-speaking countries--primarily the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Yesterday afternoon, July 15, I targeted only those four countries. When I came into work this morning, I saw that we received very few impressions and only 7 clicks (as opposed to more than 500,000+ impressions in one day and 1,500-2,400 clicks in one day). I am no Google AdWords expert, but I do understand that searching these terms in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia may be more competitive, which will require a higher CPC. I set it so Google manages my CPC, so I would assume this would adjust while staying within my daily budget. I do not know what to do, but am in dire need of guidance. Best method to measure conversions (Adwords)
Hi, I am a new member and fairly new to PPC. I have a service based site (car detailing) and I have been using Adwords for quite sometime now. My primary question is about tracking conversions. I have dedicated landing pages for each one of my ad groups (and some kw specific landing pages). When a potential customer lands on one of my pages - lets say my "car wash" page, they have the option to: Call from that page to book a service (I have a trackable number on that pages) Book online (its a 3rd party booking app with no tracking functionality) Continue to my main site for find out about our other services (I have a few outbound links set up on the page) But, I am running into problems when it comes to conversion tracking. I am not doing any call tracking via Adwords, so what would be the most effective way for me to track conversions? A) Should I set up event tracking in order to count outbound clicks as conversions? B) Should I remove all outbound links from that landing page and use the custom phone number on that page? My fear with this option is that customers may want to see additional services that are on my primary site. Therefore, I don't want to limit them to that landing page only. C) Should I use Adwords call tracking? If I go this route, I would have to decrease my campaign budgets in order to offset the call tracking costs. Or maybe there is another option I should consider that someone with more experience could offer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking Code Help - Not Showing Conversions
Hi, all. I am having issues with a clients website. They have their website developed by a company http://www.flowerstoreinabox.com.au/ my clients website is http://www.flawlessflowers.com.au the google adwords conversion tracking code has been added to their site. It measures all details as far as ads clicked on, etc.. the only part that is not been measured is the conversions of the adwords campaign. So I cannot see if the ads are successful or what their conversion % is. I have looked at the code on the thank you page and the google adwords conversion code is present on the thank you page after the sale. I am not a coder and so not sure what to look at if all the details on the checkout page exist in the code to measure the adwords conversion ecommerce transactions correctly.
