Another possibility could be your robots.txt file, is it blocking some directories?
-
Hi! It's probably best to email [email protected] about this. You can give them your full URL and they can help figure out why Roger isn't crawling everything. Thanks!

Anyone?

Hi!
One thing i figured out is that the crawling on both seomoz and xml-sitemaps.com returm the same 42 pages. Here's my website homepage URL - http://bit.ly/TGjpVx
And a couple of missing pages from 36 at total - http://bit.ly/WM3Rwe and http://bit.ly/VpHJ9H.

Hi!
My website has a xml sitemap, generated by Google XML sitemap Wordpress plugin, with all the 75 pages. The crawler http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ also outputs just 42 pages. I think it has someting to do with the blogs being archived (?).
I need to solve this and don't know how?!
Thanks for your help do.
Regards.

Actually, the SEOmoz crawler should be crawling all of the pages -- it's OSE that doesn't crawl everything, but the crawler from your campaign should show all that it could find. If you email [email protected] they'd be happy to help you figure it out, or if you want to share your URL here along with some pages that are missing, the Q&A people could help diagnose things too.

Hi Ovieira,
This is not necessarily an indication that there are pages that are hidden from crawlers and the missing pages could simply be low priority for the moment. Or could have been created after the initial crawl had taken place.
The best way to check is to run a crawler like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and that will give you a better idea. If the sitemap generates a complement of your pages then it's probably just a case of waiting until the next Moz crawl.

Keyword ranking for different page than the page optimized
I have optimized "equipment trailer for rent" on this page: http://www.bigtrailerrentals.com/flatbed-trailer-rentals/equipment-deckover. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me why Google has chosen to rank the keyword phrase for this page: http://www.bigtrailerrentals.com/flatbed-trailer-rentals/equipment-24 This is just one example. It has happened on several of my pages / keywords.

Page Rank Lost After Website Transfer
Hello, I recently transferred a website from Ruby on Rails to Wordpress in order to help with the site's responsiveness. I kept all of the URLs the exact same, but when I transferred it only the homepage and one other page kept their page ranks, all of the others have lost theirs completely. Almost every page on the site was at least a PR 2, and now their not ranked, and not ranking in the top of search engines like they were before. I am not quite sure what might have caused this, like I said, I kept the URLs all the exact same and its strange that 2 pages were not effected. I crawled the site with Screaming From and all of the pages that lost their page rank have a status as "Moved Permanently". They are the exact same URL, but they are listed without www. in front, could this have something to do with it? The website is www.goenergylink.com, and you will see that the homepage and "Residential" page still have their page rank, but none of the others do. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks

Page Rank
I had just made a 301 re-direct on one of our product pages which had a PR of 4, now that Google has indexed the new page, it's now got a PR of 0, i'm struggling to understand why this could be, i know that you may see a drop of 1, which has happened in the past, but this drop just does not make sense. Any ideas of why this could be? Kind Regards

Framed Pages and Dynamic Pages
Has anyone else had experience with different CMS's for Ecommerce . Ones that create static pages and others that dynamically create pages. What differences have you seen with rankings on google with the two. Here are two examples of sites using static framed pages and one with a system that dynamically creates pages - http://www.gardeningexpress.co.uk/ - static frames and http://www.floraselect.co.uk - dynamically

Too many on page links
I'm having trouble interpreting this data. It says several of my blog pages have too many on page links, some as high as 140 and there is no example of a blog post that they are referring to. What am I missing? I never post more than a handful (5-7) in our 600-1000wd blogs. When I drill down, it doesn't give me very much information except "Found over 41 years ago" off to the right. When I click on the "too many on page links" URL, it provides a long list of website pages that are renamed with the blog name. huh? A lot of this stuff isn't very intuitive, SEOMoz.

Too Many On-Page Links on a Directory type website?
Hi there, I run a website which is a directory therefore there are a lot of On-Page links. If you take a look at the site, www.south-african-hotels.com, you will see there are a number of links on all pages which are completely relevant. I'm not sure what to remove as everything is relevant. The top navigation is available throughout and that alone has 120 links in it to give users easy access to information. Do I ignore the Too many On-Page links suggestion or do I change something? Any suggestions welcome! Thank you in advance!
