How to make new content Indexed faster by google
-
I would like to know what can I do. Normally it takes google around 3 days to index my content.
I got a site map, swiched the crawling rate to the fastest in my webmaster tools.
I also tried crawling my homepage as google bot and sending it to the index with all linked pages but even if I do so my content takes around 3 days if not more to get indexed.
I publish around 20 posts a week. My SEOmoz page authority is 48.
Some sites of my competition seem to be getting their content indexed in the same day.
What else can be done?

Thanks,
I will check it out -
JUst figured out that it is not possible as google wants google plus to be 100% human generated content so they don´t give any kind of API acces asthey do in facebook and twitter.

Here is Google's FAQ on Schema.org. They also have videos on rich snippets (from schema.org)
Take some time to go through all of these. There are multiple types of microdata and "news articles" is one of them. Unfortunately, I can't answer your question about how schema works because that is like asking someone how SEO works. It's a learning process.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any such services sorry

I am using rel= author
How does the .org shcema works?
My blog haa a feed... should I suscribe it to the google news service some how ?Every post gets burned to the facebook fanpage autmatically with the link.
The website is around 1 and a half years old.

I haven't seen any authority say this but when we create articles we Fetch them as Google the same day. Not the home page but that exact URL. If you are producing 20 posts a week and fetching them Google will start to pick that up and start crawling it faster.
Are you using rel=author?
What about other schema. org markup for news articles?
Do you have your blog on a Feed? (Google Reader updates about every hour)
Social Signals? Are people sharing your content?

Thanks Brad,
I already have a google plus account and linked to all posts as author. IS there aservice that burns your feed into your google plus so every new post apears also in my google plus account? would it be recommendable? -
From personal experience, if you share on Google Plus it gets indexed much much quicker.
I suggest starting a personal profile if you don't already have one and sharing on G+, plus other social media channels.

Hi Sebastian,
How old is your site? Try a combination of social bookmarking your site/posts, using social media (facebook, twitter, google+) to push your content and pinging your site . All these efforts should help your posts get indexed faster.

Why is content getting longer?
I find it odd that with the way life is today -- the gotta-have-it-now, instant gratification, can't hold someone's attention span for longer than 3 seconds -- why Google is wanting content to be REALLY long?? I've read articles saying content should be as long as 2,000 words per page. This just seems nuts to me. No one wants to read anymore. Look at how short Twitter posts are and how videos are so prevalent now. Any thoughts?

Is framed content on another domain duplicate content?
I've read a number of articles and am getting opposing answers. I've been checking pages of Photo.net in copyscape for duplicate content. I'm finding a number of domains have the site iframed onto them. I was wondering why copyscape could read the content if the search engines supposedly didn't crawl iframes. Copyscape said Google can read the content. I just want to know if these sites need to remove the iframe (is it hurting Photo.net)? Thanks. Examples: http://www.copyscape.com/?q=http%3A%2F%2Fphoto.net%2Freviews%2F

RSS feeds with dup content and titles
Hi, For my Buddypress site I use a tool to create sites with RSS feeds. Each site is for a different feed, but the number of dup tiles and content is running in the thousands. I've been trying to reduce the dups, but have begun to think there is more trouble from such content than benefit. Should I dump the content or ignore the errors flagged by SEOMOZ? Any ideas if thes RSS feed dups are hurting my BuddyPress site? Any suggestions in general about how to eliminate such dupe for a Buddypress Site, eg. the activity log. Larry

Your Site and Google News Question
My site has been in Google News for about 3 years. Over the weekend, I received this message from Google Hi John, We periodically review news sources, to ensure Google News offers a high quality experience for our users. When we reviewed your site, mainstreetmonroe.com, we found that we can no longer include it in Google News at this time. We reviewed your site and are unable to include it in Google News at this time. We can't include sites that don't have a formal editorial-review process for submitted content. If this exists on your site, please let us know where and we'll be happy to review your site again. Mainstreetmonroe is scheduled to be removed from Google News for a period of at least 30 days. After this 30-day period has elapsed, you can re-apply for inclusion in Google News provided your site meets our guidelines. We appreciate your assistance in this matter. Please note that you'll still be able to find your site in Google Web Search and other Google services. Thanks for your interest in Google News. Regards, The Google News Team What exactly do they mean? I submitted my website news section, but they have been displaying our forum area in the news too. I think the forum is what GN is talking about. What is the best way to fix this problem? Move the forum to a subdomain? Duplicate Content - Video
I recently noticed a drop in rankings for my site shortly after the new algorithm update. I'm not sure exactly why rankings went down, but would like to know if it has to do with having videos on our site that do not belong to us. We have a few videos on product pages that the manufacturer of the product had created. I was wondering if Google maybe thinks we are maliciously stealing these videos or something and penalizing us for it. And if stuff like this has anything to do with the recent algorithm update. We make our own videos, but some of our manufacturer's videos are just better... and they work with us and are glad for us to have their videos listed. Thanks in advance
