3rd Party Commenting System for Wordpress Blog
-
I'll be starting a new blog within a week, for that i'm thinking to implement a 3rd party comment system instead of default wordpress comment system. I'm thinking of Livefyre or Facebook Comment System. Mostly my heart is saying to go for Livefyre.
I'm in such a niche where i need more likes and sharing, so do you advice me to got for Facebook Commenting System.
What do you guys suggest and recommend. which is better? Pls do advice, thanks

Thank You Marie Haynes for the answer.
I too heard of Google Commenting System, But is it worth waiting till they release it? Should i go with the default wordpress commenting system till then?
Facebook Comments are now indexable. So isn't that a good option to go for it. I do agree that it's very difficult to moderate Facebook comments. But I think facebook commenting system will generate us tons of traffic, isn't that worth going for this?
Also, Can we use both facebook and default comment system in blog? If so How? How can we integrate both? Please do refer me to some useful articles on achieving this.

I'm a fan of disqus because even though it is a third party commenting system, the comments are still stored on your wordpress databases. So, if something were to happen to the company you wouldn't lose your comments.
Perhaps I'm missing something, but I found with Facebook comments that I couldn't figure out how to moderate them.
I've heard rumors that google is going to come out with a third party commenting system of their own, so I haven't been too quick to change to anything until that happens. It's debatable whether disqus comments are SEO friendly. (I think they have a new upgrade that is crawlable though). But you know that google comments will definitely be able to be crawled!

If I had the choice I'd go for Facebook Comments purely for the the social sharing.

Exchanging Guest Blog Opportunities - SEO Implications?
Haven't found a clear, recent answer on this. What are the SEO implications of exchanging guest blogging opportunities (in other words, we write an article for a partner blog with a backlink, and they write an article on on our blog with a backlink)? The partner site has a 57 domain authority and we have a 24 domain authority.

Guest Blogging - Home Page PR0
I have found a blog in my niche that accepts guest posts. However, the site is quite odd in that the homepage has a PR of 0 and all the other pages have a 2. I just wanted to check if it is still worth posting on this site as it looks suspicious to me. Thanks.

Removing and resubmitting an article to another blog
I received a guest post earlier from an SEO company. I have published it, and it's been indexed in Google. Now the person wants me to remove the guest post, probably because they already have a guest post with a link pointing to the same client on my blog. I don't mind removing it, but are their any negative aspects in republishing that same article on another blog? Would it be a mistake to remove that article from my blog?

Blog SEO Strategy
The current SEO strategy for my company blog is to include a percentage of short tail keywords in each blog post, and not to link to the main site because they are concerned with diluting the blog. I would like to change the strategy and instead use the blog to promote long tail keywords by having each entry focus on around a different long tail keyword. I would also like to use the short-tail keywords for internal linking to strengthen our important pages with keyword rich anchor text (no more than 1 link per 100 words). I would love the advice of the SEOMoz community about which strategy is more effective (or if there is something else entirely we should be doing). Thanks!

What is the best way to bring a blog into my SEO strategy
We have a blog set up with Blogger and generate some great content on it. What is the best way to optimise the blog from an SEO standpoint? In particular the domain name, it is currently .blogspot.com address, is there a better way to work with that? Obviously the blog is branded with our company logo and name etc but is about the book industry. I'm basically concerned about linking people to our blog and not the website and so not getting much benefit?
