i wondered if googlebot explores facebook comments and if not, what are the seo benefits of facebook comments module?
As you can see below, techcrunch has added facebook comments in pages

So is it useful for SEO purposes?

I had the exact same question, and found a Wordpress plugin that makes Facebook comments readable.

It may be that using this add on has some benefits within Facebook search which is currently pretty patchy in my experience.

my technical team, also thinks that comments are not viewable when googlebot explores the website...
so if everybody thinks so, that means it isn't necessary for seo purposes to use the new facebook comments plugin na?

Facebook comments are locatable within Facebook but all testing I have seen/done has shown that they are not viewable via Google.
You can check by searching for a facebook comment you have made using site:facebook.com so it only returns results from the Facebook domain.

I am completely lost when it comes to facebook. Twitter I can understand, it's all public (or most of it, unless you opt out) but facebook activity is mostly private. I am guessing that this mainly relates to public facebook pages and the like but I still don't understand how facebook shares impact SEO and had been meaning to post that very question.
Anyone got the 5 minute skinny on this?

Facebook: reaching audience who have liked / shared my content
Hi, I am new to social, so the question might be a bit beginner. If I put a like / share / recommend button on my site, or maybe a comment box, how can I reach audiences at a later time, who have interacted with my plugins (liked/shared/commented)? Paid ads would be one solution, but for now I am interested in organic (free) targeting. Is there a functional difference between the "google +1" button and the "G+"? Has there been any conclusive research done regarding their affect on SEO?
Google used to offer a +1 button but that seems to have gone away in favor of the new google +1 button or the G+ buttons. I am trying to determine which button I should add to pages on our site but since I am most importantly doing it for SEO impact, i want to make sure I add the correct button...if it matters. Thanks

Why am I seeing so many referalls to my root domain from Facebook in Google Analytics?
When we look at referalls from Facebook in Google Analytics, more than 50% (and sometimes upwards of 80%) of the traffic we're getting is listed as landing on our root domain. The thing is, we don't have any direct links TO our root domain on our Facebook page. So is this legitimate traffic, and how are they getting to our page if we have no links to it? We do post links to stories, videos, etc, but those are to the individual pages, not to our root domain. When I look at those pages that we link to, they do have traffic numbers, but nothing compared to the root domain. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Facebook Page likes vs Webpage facebook likes - Social Media Query
I have a website and a facebook page. I have the Facebook Social Plugin on my website which shows my facebook page likes - This is currently at approx 140 likes. Is there a difference between facebook page likes and webpage likes? For SEO purposes, should I be concentrating less on the Facebook page and more on building facebook likes for the website? Are there any guides on this? What gets people to like a website as opposed to a web-page?

Tools for Automating Facebook Posts?
Hey Mozzers, We're revamping our social media campaign, and I'm looking for a tool that will allow me to schedules social media posts (Facebook specifically) in advance, so I'll only have to knock them out once a week. A cursory Google search has provided me with some options (HootSuite, etc) but I'd love to hear from people who actually use these services. What's your social media automation tool of choice, and how has it worked out for you? Thanks!

Good idea to include links in Facebook posts teaser-text?
Hi guys, I'm wondering; is it a good idea (for the engines primaliry) to include links with targeted keywords in facebook posts. From a user perspective I would say it's not desirable. But I'm wondering how Google and co treat links which they find there. They are nofollowed, yes. They are indexed however but when I want google to show me the text-only version of the cached page I receive an 404 error which is odd. Anybody else getting the 404 from google? Are links from Pinterest 'do follow'/do they have any SEO benefit?
Afternoon all, I know there is a question about Pinterest that was asked in February but I guess it was a fairly new beast then and people were still unsure about its use for marketing/SEO etc. I run an events business and on our Pinterest profile I tend to pin random stuff I find on the net, themes we are running (directly from our website) and other Pinterest users. I have received several 're-pins' and people are really starting to follow us now. What I am keen to know is whether or not having lots of followers/re-pins on Pinterest has the same effectiveness from an SEO perspective as having lots of Facebook/Twitter/Google+ followers and whether or not these re-pins are 'do follow' links or have any SEO benefit whatsoever? How do you moderate facebook comments?
I added facebook comments to many pages on my site. Does anyone know how you can moderate (or even see) what comments have been left? If I go to facebook.com/insights for my website it tells me that I have had 15 comments this month. But, if I go to "popular pages" it shows me 1 page. If I click on that page I can see that one comment. But where are the other 14? I really like the idea that when people leave a facebook comment on my page it goes on their friends' news streams and then my site gets more exposure. But, if I can't moderate my comments that would not be good!
