Why does it keep displaying br tags and claiming 404 errors on like 4 of my URL's for all my Wordpress sites?
-
Is anyone else having the same issue? These errors don't actually exist and i think it has something to do with wordpress - how can i fix this?
-
So i took a look at our SEOMOZ Pro account - it's showing me 4 URL's similar to the one below:
404 : Error
http://dfwsinusselect.com/about-balloon-sinuplasty/insurance/<br
However, nowhere in my site can I find any links with %3Cbr (which is basically the
tag.Without that ending, the URL works fine, and that's how it is linked throughout the site... so I guess what I'm saying is that I'm having this very issue with multiple Wordpress sites.

Have you visited the pages in question and viewed the response headers? It's strange, but sometimes a web server can serve up a page but still put out a 404 in the header. And with CMS driven sites like Wordpress (without physical page files), it's easy to create a 404 URL by simply linking to a typo.

How do I fix 5xx errors on pdf's?
Hi all, I'm having a huge (and very frustrating) issue-- I have 437 pages with 5xx errors and have no idea how to go about fixing them. All of them are links to pdf's, and when I click on the link on the Site Crawl page, it opens just fine. I've been trying to find the answer to how to fix this issue for weeks with no luck at all. I tried linking the pdf's to their parent page, tried renaming the links to be more concise and crawler friendly, and I've searched all types of articles involving pdf's and 5xx errors, all with no luck. Does anyone have any idea why these pages are getting this error and how I can fix them? Huge thanks in advance! Daniela S.

Site Crawl 4xx Errors?
Hello! When I check our website's critical crawler issues with Moz Site Crawler, I'm seeing over 1000 pages with a 4xx error. All of the pages that are showing to have a 4xx error appear to be the brand and product pages we have on our website, but with /URL at the end of each permalink. For example, we have a page on our site for a brand called Davinci. The URL is https://kannakart.com/davinci/. In the site crawler, I'm seeing the 4xx for this URL: https://kannakart.com/davinci/URL. Could this be a plugin on our site that is generating these URLs? If they're going to be an issue, I'd like to remove them. However, I'm not sure exactly where to begin. Thanks in advance for the help, -Andrew

What's the best way to eliminate "429 : Received HTTP status 429" errors?
My company website is built on WordPress. It receives very few crawl errors, but it do regularly receive a few (typically 1-2 per crawl) "429 : Received HTTP status 429" errors through Moz. Based on my research, my understand is that my server is essentially telling Moz to cool it with the requests. That means it could be doing the same for search engines' bots and even visitors, right? This creates two questions for me, which I would greatly appreciate your help with: Are "429 : Received HTTP status 429" errors harmful for my SEO? I imagine the answer is "yes" because Moz flags them as high priority issues in my crawl report. What can I do to eliminate "429 : Received HTTP status 429" errors? Any insight you can offer is greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Why is moz saying I have a 404 error?
I recently asked a question on here about how to fix my 404 error. I figured it out, and now webmaster tools says it's not there any more. This as been confirmed by keeping watch for about a week now. But Moz just crawled my site today and is for some reason showing an error. Am i missing something here or is Moz a little slow sometimes?

Rel-canonical tag confusion
I had our web development company implement the rel-canonical tag on all pages of our website to get rid of the duplicate content months ago. However, when I use the On Page optimizer tool (in previous version) it would tell me I'm not using the rel-canonical tag correctly on the page I was grading and when I untagged use rel-canonical tag in our CMS (which was pointing to the correct page) my grade would go to an A. Now with the new version it says I'm using it wrong either way, when I have the tag used in my CMS and everything else is good I have a B, but one I click to not use Rel-canonical tag I have a C. Both ways it shows up in On-page tool without a check in Apprpriate Use of Rel Canonical. I've attached pictures. In C version it says - Canonical URL "/info/solutions/" and "/info/solutions/" In B version: Canonical URL "/info/solutions/" What am I doing wrong and how do i fix this? Because ALL of my grades have dropped to Bs and Cs. Thanks! iklEHOjJLZE4966 ]() 5BYcV

What's with the new Q&A set up?
In the old Q&A set up your response was automatically given a thumbs up by you so that you got a mozpoint for every response you gave. Now you have to manually thumb up your responses. Why was this change made? Can we get it back to the way it was?

What's Your SEOmoz Favorite?
Obviously, SEOmoz is full of awesomeness. But I'm curious as to what sections, tools, etc. of SEOmoz are the users' favorites? For me, it's a close race between the blog, Linkscape/Open Site Explorer, and the search overlay tool on the Mozbar. What are your favorites?
