What are some tips to increase twitter and facebook numbers on seomoz?
-
I am looking for tips and ways to increase facebook and twitter numbers particularly for seomoz ranking purposes?
-
Hi Diego,
The Facebook numbers listed in Open Site Explorer represent Likes and Shares on Facebook, but don't reflect comments on shares of that URL.
-
Yes, we are trying to increase our likes and tweets, but according to seomoz, OSE bases its Facebook numbers and Twitter numbers according to the number of times your website address is mentioned or commented on, not the number of times your facebook or website page is liked or tweeted. As such, I am trying to find ways to increase url mentions linked on facebook/twitter, as well as commented on.

Presumably you mean for "SEO purposes" rather than "seomoz purposes"
If that's the case, the simplest answer is just to post interesting content relevant to your company. Don't always advertise your products directly on your social networks. It's about interacting with customers and not trying to sell to them. Constantly attempting to sell to followers on social networks might lead to a few short term sales but in the long term will hinder a growth in your network. Social networks are a great way to grow brand awareness over time rather than making a load of quick sales now.

I don't understand the question. It sounds like you want SEOMOZ to rank higher. Are you trying to increase your Likes and Tweets so you can see them in OSE?

Best to Include Phone Number as CTA Button in Mobile Version of B+B Web Site?
We are attempting to keep the number of CTAs (Calls to Action) on our commercial real estate website to a minimum. Our adjusted design (see attached) has 2 CTAs. One is "Contact Agent" the other is "Schedule a Tour". We are focusing on the listing page, which is the primary product page and critical in terms of CTA. Our mobile version does not show a phone number while the desktop version (also attached) displays a phone number. Should the mobile version also display a button a phone number? Some members of our target audiences, business owners and executives who are often in their 40s and 50s may prefer to call us up rather than communicate by written message. Any suggestions for elegantly displaying the phone number without causing confusion? I have read that the number of CTAs should be limited so I am on the fence as to whether or not to include a phone number Thanks,

Do the clickable images on pages are bad that they will increase bounce rate and distract users?
Hi Moz community, I'm trying to get some helpful answers on this. We are planning to employ clickable images on our website pages which opens in new tab if users click on them. This is to make sure that they can see the large screenshots of our product. I wonder will this increase the bounce rate and drop the rankings. Please share your experience and guidance on this. Thanks

Attribution model - the weighted number of conversions - GA
Hi, 1.Can someone explain me with an example what is "The weighted number of conversions under the custom selected attribution model"? How Analytics calculate it? 2. If I increase e.g social source for 1.4 in my attribution model, my organic or direct source are loosing that weighted number of conversions. Could it be because of organic or direct getting lower credit, or for some other reason? Ty. Br.

Is there a way to drill down on Facebook Audience's interests AFTER ad has run?
Howdy, folks. So, Everyone knows that we can create custom Facebook audience with all the filters, interests and behaviors and see what audience "consist of" in FB audience insights. That's all nice and dandy, but here is my situation: So, I "build" the audience the best way I can, run the ad, have, let's say average results. Theoretically (especially if audience is broad), I would be able to get better results if I was able to see which segment (by interests or behaviors) of targeted audience performed best. And then run another ad to narrowed down audience. But, as far as I understand and know, there is no way to do that. FB reporting only provides breakdowns on age, gender, location, devices and couple more things. So, is there way to get that data? P.S. If I'm still confusing, here are couple examples: I run ad for audience who have interest in football OR meat OR potatoes (let's say because I sell meat and potatoes dish for football players :D). So, is there way for me to find out which interest group performed best without running three separate a/b/c test campaigns (imagine if i have 20 "OR" interests)? I run ad for audience of male, between 22-44 age. Is there way to find out which interests group in this audience performed best?

Increase conversion rate to buy
I am trying to understand why my women fashion site has a very low conversion, basically zero apart from some occasional sales (last one a few months ago) There is a lack of organic traffic the to shop subdomain, but what worries me is that (email/social media) campaigns to existing clients who happily buy repeatedly from our brick and mortar store do not generate results, despite using promotion codes etc. Before investing heavily in PPC campaigns etc, I'd like to improve conversion. Any advice on what can be improved ? PD: link can be found in my profile.

PayPal Visits Increase in Referral Traffic in Google Analytics
We've noticed recently on an E-Commerce website that we manage that PayPal has recently shown a large increase in Referral Traffic on the website. Is anyone having an experience with this and how can we block it? It seems like its counting the traffic that leave to PayPal to complete a purchase and then return to the site as increased traffic. The increase started to occur around April 29, 2015 and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with any recent updates made by PayPal? Any insight or other experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Call-to-action is literally a call/dialing a number...
The call-to-action for this site is not some sort of webform, nor adding an item to a cart; it is a call, that is the action this business wants to elicit. Would there possibly be any advantage to making the number clickable and having a landing page for that, any suggestions on how to make this call-to-action more pronounced/clear? Thanks! =]
