Hi PureMobile, you've received some great responses. Has your question been answered?

Surely what I'm going to say need to be confirmed doing a proper audit, but your PageRank 5 may be dried by the giant mega menu you have, which is causing your site to have 421 internal followed links...
If you don't change that, all your pages are going to be too weak to compete in the SERPs, because they are literally bleeding all their PageRank out.
Related to your visibility problem, as already cited by the others, I suggest you to implement the rel="alternate" hreflang this way:
<rel="alternate" hreflang="en-ca" href="http://www.puremobile.ca/"></rel="alternate">
<rel="alternate" hreflang="en" href="http://www.puremobile.com/"></rel="alternate">
<rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="http://wwww.puremobile.com"></rel="alternate">
The first line is telling Google to show only the URLs from the .ca site to users performing a Search in English from Canada.
The second line is telling Google to show only the URLs from the .com site to users performing a Search in English from all over the world (apart Canada, because of the first line)
The third line is telling Google to show always the URLs from the .com site to users performing a Search in a language other that English from all over the world.
You can find more information about the hreflang here:

First thing we need to be sure of is how you're doing your searching, puremobile. When you say "when I exact search a product for example" do you mean you are doing that search in your own browser?
Due to all the personalisation of search results that Google does, if you're doing that search from your own browser, it's pretty much guaranteed to give you the .ca results as you are searching from Canada. In fact, if you are doing a default search, you are probably searching from Google.ca which is even more likely to give you that .ca result. (Even using incognito browser mode, you'll still likely see this)
To get around this, you can set up Google.ca and Google.com as two different search engines to track rankings from in each of your SEOMoz campaign. Ideally, you'll want to set up a separate campaign for each version of your site (.com and .ca)
Still not 100% accurate as these rankings still don't take all the other personalisation elements into account, but will give you a better idea of the rankings for each site.
As Matt points out, you'll still want to do what you can to give the engines as much help understanding which site to serve which visitor as possible. That work will also be easier to track if you set up both sites and separate campaigns and track your efforts individually.
Hope that helps?
Paul

There are actually a number of ways to approach what you're doing, including implementing hreflang tags for en-ca or en-us but I'm seeing the .com here in Melbourne.
I would sort out your canonicals, hreflang, and get your pages setup to show the right one per search engine (.ca on google.ca, .com on the rest maybe.)
-
Well I'd say you've definitely been penalized. Reason being would most likely be that you have duplicate content on a massive scale. Every one of your pages are duplicated between the .com and the .ca versions without a rel=canonical tag listed anywhere to be seen.
It seems like a manual penalty seeing as how your PR is gone, so I'd keep my eye on GWMT but in any case you need to solve that duplicate content problem before you do anything.
Basically what you should do is redirect one to the other 301-style. Like.. right now would be a good time to do it!
Good luck!

Google Listing Brand Name as Page Title rather than actual set Title
Any search result including our website is displaying our search result title like this: "Brand Name: Partial Page Title" instead of what it should be "Page Title" (as an example). Where is the "Brand Name:" coming from? We've verified we don't have any code that could cause this, and we're blocking in robots.txt directory listings being used for our search result title/meta. This isn't happening for our competitors. Any ideas on why this is, and if it's something we can control?

Advice on improving ecommerce product detail pages to rank better in google search results.
Hi all, I run an ecommerce website, not a great ranked site, however i want to try and improve the product detail pages. To do this, i am first going to focus on 1 page (this one: http://goo.gl/eS62SU) If i type the product code directly into google.co.uk search i am on the 8th page (see https://www.google.co.uk/#q=hac-hfw2220r-z&start=70) which is a bit poor to say the least. I see this kind of thing for a lot of my products. Hence, i am going to see if over the next month or two i can get this one page moving up the rankings purely with on page optimisation. I would like to ask a couple of things: 1. Is there anything that jumps out at you as to why that product detail page could NOT ever rank well, i.e some code / set up of page etc that prevents google ranking it 2. Any advice you could give that might improve that page in rankings for its product code. FYI - I can not change the dynamic URL, I only have control over such things as product name / summary / features / spec etc any advice welcome

If the order of products on a page changes each time the page is loaded, does this have a negative effect on the SEO of those pages?
Hello, a client of mine has a number of category pages that each have a list of products. Each time the page is reloaded the order of those products changes. Does this have a negative effect on the pages' rankings? Thank you

Page not cached
Hi there, we uploaded a page but unfortunately didn't realise it had noindex, nofollow in the meta tags. Google had cached it then decached it (i guess thats possible) it seems? now it will not cache even though the correct meta tags have been put in and we have sent links to it internally and externally. Anyone know why this page isn't being cached, the internal link to it is on the homepage and that gets cached almost every day. I even submitted it to webmaster tools to index.

Wrong Page Ranking
Higher-level page with more power getting pushed out by weaker page in the SERPs for an important keyword. I don't care about losing the weaker page. Should I: 404 the weaker page and wait for Google to (hopefully) replace it with the stronger page? 301 the weaker page to the stronger page? NOTE: Due to poor communication between content team and myself, the weak and strong pages have similar title tags (i.e, "lawsuits" and "litigation")

Homepage dropping back to page 30 and being replaced by a random page?
Hi All Please accept my apologies if i have posted this in the wrong place, i am new to this. I have asked for help over and over again on Google Webmaster Forum but everytime i am faced with sarcastic, unhelpful answers and then moaned at for asking the same question again when i get no answers. Well, my website is http://www.hillfieldscampingandleisure.co.uk. The site is nearly 2 years old and is an ecommerce online camping equipment store. It is hosted on the EKMPOWERSHOP Platform. After a about a year of adding products and designing my site i decided to hire an SEO Company based in the UK, they were a good company with some big clients. Anyways to cut a really long story short....they completely ripped me off by £700 a month for 7 months for my site to keep going backwards, they wouldnt target the keywords i wanted and all they did was provide really spammy, non relevant, no page rank links...my site ended up on number 31 of Google. I managed to drop the company and try to do things myself. I optimized my sites content so it wasn't keyword stuffed I re-wrote all my alt tags to look more natural I optimized my meta and h1 tags I carried on with trying to build relevant, high page rank links Anyways i managed to get my homepage to page 3/4 of Google. It stayed there for a few weeks but over the past few weeks my Homepage is dropping back to page 28-30 and being replaced with a random page of my site on page 4-6. It corrects itself after a while and my homepage returns but then it happens all over again....today i have a random page on page 4 and my homepage is on page 29. Any ideas on what is causing this and how can i get my site up there? I have had some ideas come back that it is the EKM platform i am using but since the seo company took the p out of me, its the only one i can afford at the moment until i start selling. I am a small business with stock waiting to be sold but no matter how much i read and rules to follow my site just doesn't seem to move. Any help would be really really apreciated and be nice!

Too many on page links
Hello I have about 800 warnings with this. Example of one url with this problem is: http://www.theprinterdepo.com/clearance?dir=asc&order=price I was checking and I think all links are important. But I suppose that if I put a nofollow on the links on the left which are only for navigation purposes I can get rid of these warnings. Any other idea?

Renaming of pages
About 2 months ago one of our clients renamed a section of his website. The worst part is that the URLs of the page also changed. New page: http://www.meresverige.dk/rejser/malmo Old page: http://www.meresverige.dk/rejser/malmoe The problem now is that the new page get absolutely no page-rank transfered from the old page. It also get no mozrank at all. Also if I try to find it in the Open Site Explorer it can not be found. The old page can, but not the new one. We have updated the sitemap.xml and also done proper 301 redirect for the pages since about 2 months. Any ideas here? This page was a very important page in terms of traffic so very much thankful for any input. Have a great day Fredrik
