How to make video snapshot appear near your search result

What's the proper way to have google display a video near the search result for my webpage (I'm using LeadPlayer to play videos).
I think that the information regarding the video is there (I also submitted a video sitemap) but when I do a search the author picture is displayed instead of the video.
Have I set anything wrong? How can I display the video if my post contains a video?

I'm currently using XML Sitemap for Videos that generates the video sitemap.
Is that enough? I also saw this plug in http://yoast.com/wordpress/video-seo/ and it looks like you can display video snippets even if the video are hosted on youtube.
What's your experience?

Lead player just integrates with the YouTube API - so it's no different to just embedding the YouTube version on your page.
If you want the video rich snippet, a much more surefire way is going to be self hosting your video - or using a third party provider like Wistia.
Also, you should put your video sitemap in your robots.txt file as well as submitting through GWMT.

Snippet showing as domain name with apostrophe, instead of page title when searching for the domain name.
Hi, We have an issue with one of our websites, with the snippet dispaying differently in Google serps when searching for the domain or the website name rather than a search term. When searching for a search term, the page title shows as expected, but when searching for the site by the domain name either with or without the tld, it shows the snippet as the domain name with an apostrophe at the end. Directories and Search Engine Site Submissions and Technorati Tags Important?
I use a wordpress for out website 50campfires.com and we have a site map set up along with google analytics and web master tools. I believe wordpress automatically sends information to the search engines with changes in the site map. Do I need to submit to search engines manually once a month? Is directories like DMOZ still relevant with SEO today? And what are your opinions on Technorati Tags? I never heard of them before reading this article. What's the Best Way to Hide Redirects from Search Engines?
Hey everybody, I like to use php redirects for affiliate links so they look better. I keep them all in the same directory. I read recently that these may hurt SEO. Is there an SEO penalty for text that appears only in a pop-up box when you hover the mouse over an icon?
A client of mine wants to streamline the look of his web pages, taking some of the visible body copy and putting it into boxes that pop up when you hover the mouse over an icon. My understanding is that search engines will index this pop-up text. However, do they penalize pages that have text in pop-up boxes out of concern that those pages are spammy? In this case, the text and the page are perfectly legitimate e-commerce pages. Thanks for any insights you can offer.
