YouTube Listing Videos That We Didn't Upload
-
Our Company has recently started doing videos on installation and product features. As we were going through our Google YouTube Analytic, we noticed there are random letters and numbers that are coming up as a video (example:YsQgAQPykMI), although it is not a link.
_Where we are finding this information: Google YouTube Analytic under the Comment section. The bottom section will list the videos that the channel has uploaded and its respective link. _
1. What and why is YouTube pulling this information?
2. How can I remove this from our listing?
3. What are future measures we can take to prevent this from happening again?
Unfortunately, I'm not able to upload an image to show you exactly what the issue is.
Thanks for your help,
Tamara

You're most welcome!

Phil,
After much research, it appears that these are videos that have been deleted. I'm not sure if they can be deleted off our records but will follow up with the YouTube support group for a final answer.
Thank you for taking the time to review our issue.

Hi Tamara,
Admittedly, I have not seen this before - but It seems to me that the numerical strings probably correspond to videos that don't have Titles - potentially either videos that have been deleted - or perhaps videos that just haven't had titles specified when being uploaded.
In short, it's a slight error in YouTube analytics, but the cause isn't entirely clear. As the URLs that the video codes should respond to bring up a 404 error, I'd suggest that perhaps these were old videos that have been deleted, though that it only a guess.
How can you remove it? To be honest, I'm not sure. I suggest you speak to YouTube support.

Hi Chris,
I attached an image of what we are seeing. Did you get a chance to look at it?

Little confused as the problem are you trying to work out the end of a URL e.g. youtube.com/YsQgAQPykMI
The end (YsQgAQPykMI) is just pointing towards your video. If you can link to your video it would be helpful as I can't understand what the problem is, sorry.
Did you take a look through the Youtube help page ?

Getting Youtube Channel to Appear in Own Brand Search Results
Hi There When searching for a company's name, the company's YouTube channel infrequently appears on page 2, and more often than not a single video is displayed rather than the channel itself. If you search for Moz, there video's appear on page 1. https://www.google.co.uk/search?safe=active&sxsrf=ACYBGNSFXYC_ZW2NSU7MGBPkVLQaKwArZA%3A1574343148737&source=hp&ei=7JHWXamfKrC7gwf1roS4BA&q=moz&oq=moz&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39l2j0i67j0i131i67j0i67l6.680.953..1052...0.0..0.86.239.3......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i131.PYRZrWhmps0&ved=0ahUKEwipxYehtfvlAhWw3eAKHXUXAUcQ4dUDCAg&uact=5 I've added a rich schema link on the site to the YouTube channel, but could I ask what else I can do, either on the site or on YouTube to create a stronger connection between our brand name and our YouTube channel? I understand Authorship is Dead, but here's a question on the Google+ Profile
I guest write for some blogs, as well as several blogs I manage myself. What is the correct usage of the "Contributor to" field and the "Links" field? Contributor to: The overall blog itself and; Links: To individual blog posts themselves? Or the reverse? Thank you!

+1's just Homepage or Everypage?
We just put added the little +1 button to all of our pages, and I'm curious if I should be trying to get +1's on all our pages, just the homepage or just the homepage and some of our most important pages? Also, is there any reason we should "slowly" add +1's, like google reviews? I'm sure we could get 100 - 200 of our g+ community to at least +1 the homepage if we asked and/or involved some sort of give-a-way, but I wouldn't want to get red flagged for that if it happened in a week. Granted, I'm not really sure how g+'s work in terms of SEO penalties or if there are any for things like that, but I want to double-check. Thanks for the help, Ruben

Does Google prefer YouTube video's embedded on a site or put in a Pop up image class for SEO purposes
Our company is an eCommerce site for aftermarket automotive accessories, we have been posting videos on our site. On some pages we have videos embedded from Youtube and on other pages the videos are embedded but in a Popup Image Class. Below I'll provide an example of one way we put the popup image class on our site <iframe id="vidf" style="display:none;" width="460" height="320" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MattCutts?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> Now concerning SEO would it be better just to embed a video the traditional way or use the popup image class? The reason I ask is because the popup image class hides the video on the page with an image on top then once you click that image the video pops up. Can Google still crawl/see the video? What would be best practice for SEO?

Is Pinterest's Embed a Pin good for SEO?
I was curious if by having Pinterest embed pins on my site will add SEO value... This would be used mainly on product pages for alternative images, closeup detail, any type of image to answer a customers question. I would accompany the pin with more text as another way of adding content to the page. Example on my site: Wicker Sofa product page with Pinterest Embed live. Also attached the screenshot of the code that is used by Pinterest pin embed widget. Hoping that extra unique content + social activity repins or follows, would help my store's SEO. Thank you for your answers in advance... 3uqUz57.png

Hi, I am new here and its my first question. I am helping a charity on pro-bono basis on their SEO. They do a great job by looking after terminally ill children with no costs to parents. 60% of their funding is through various fund raising events. They know some well known actors and sports personality who may be willing to help. They have asked my to look at their Facebook page and help to raise its profile and no of likes increase interaction with donors & general public and most importantly use it to raise funds Any ideas/ help/suggestions will be really appreciated. Thank you, Syed

Facebook 'SEO', Likes and Fans
I spent a bit of time this morning combing Google looking for some documentation on SEO for Facebook, specifically the value of 'likes', when liking one's status, how that effects the visibility of a given post and basically the criteria for creating whatever they deem a post to have gone 'viral'. I'm convinced there has to be some answers for my first two questions... ....somewhere. Likewise, I can appreciate if there's nothing available to answer my third question pertaining to 'viral criteria'. Nevertheless, if anyone has any resources/documentation that could provide me some insight into how FB interprets 'likes', how an increased number of 'likes' may lead to greater visibility and (more or less) the mechanics of how this interacts with the entire Facebook structure, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading, I look forward to the responses!
