Ranking not correct
-
Hi, I am new in moz.
I just wonder why on pro it shows that our domain laysander.com is rank no 9 on google US.
but when I check myself on google.com, it shows on page 2. No 4.
What should I do to increase my real rank so that I can go to page 1 Top 3?
Thanks,

Here's a bit more information on why rankings don't always match up. http://moz.com/help/pro/rankings.

Thanks for the reply,
The keyword is mesin digital printing (in indonesia term). I did test the search using multiple browser and multiple computers both mac and windows. I did delete the browser cache too. I did not use US Proxy or checking form US. I just check locally from indonesia.
The results was the same. However, recently the ranking is already match with the google.com search result. Is it possible that the ranking is not as suggested in moz due to google penalty?
Thanks

When you say the domain is ranked 9, for what keyword? Since the site is Indonesian, is the search for an Indonesian term or for an English term?
Thanks -
Are you logged into Google? Are you using an incognito window? Have you tried the search on other computers? I can get different results for rankings just by using different browsers, because sometimes I'll be logged into Google on one browser, and not the other, and have the history enabled on a third even though I'm not logged in.
Are you checking from the US or a US proxy?

| www.shajinfotech.com | 10 | I would say , low end links, only 1 link caught my eye : www.shajinfotech.com with mR 5.43 (without any reason, site without links , history etc.) Other then that , can't find any reason for high ranking and for high mozRank. Please help me to understand. I don't care about this particular site but I'm trying to understand how things works. Thank you in advance for the help. Alex1 -
Competitor Ranks Highly Despite LOTS of Duplication
One of my Moz campaigns tracks my main competitor. I can't get over the fact that this competitor continues to rank well despite having thousands of duplication issues while I currently have less than 10. Our websites are similar both structurally and product-wise. The two images attached include OSE comparisons for the keyword "kraft envelopes". My competitor ranks #2 for the term, while I rank #9. I don't get why! And again, looking from a top-level perspective, MOZ shows that my competitor's website is full of duplication issues and other problems while my site is healthy as a horse. All responses are greatly appreciated. QmSlfET.jpg 9CDny60.jpg

Rankings reporting showing inaccurate improve/decline/unchanged numbers
Our rankings report is showing inaccurate numbers for the improved, declined, and unchanged summary, both in the email and on the site. According to the added up numbers, we have 315 keywords in the campaign, but that's not possible as we only have 172 set up for it. The total for this section is correct, it just doesn't add up.

Rankings Different in Serps from Report
My site shows up on page one for many search queries, but I'm "not in the top 50" for those same terms according to the rankings report. Having troubleshooted the problem, it may be a canonical issue. I did not include www when I originally set up my reports and it seems that my site shows up in search results with www. However; if you type in the url without the www, it will automatically forward to the page with www. I did this intentionally in order not to get penalized for duplicate content pages. So here's my question: If I've got one page redirected to the other, shouldn't the rankings report also follow that redirect? If so, then it should show the correct results, right? Thanks, Dino

So if anyone knows how to do this, with SEOmoz Rank Checker tool or another tool in SEOmoz, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

How Long For New Keyword Rank Data?
I have a PRO account and added the initial keywords and got the immediate rankings for those. Then I added new keywords and those have not been updated. How long do I have to wait to get Keyword Ranking data on those keywords. I know it says they are updated every Friday, but does that mean I have to wait until next Friday for my first run of data on new keywords?? I ask because I have to present to a client before then and I require the data for that meeting. Any insight is appreciated.

Keyword ranking - authority information
How can you explain that a website (not mine) appears on 1st place in Google (on the Keyword Difficulty Tool/Ranking Analysis) but the Page Authority, Page Linking Root Domains, Domain Authority, and Root Domain Linking Root Domains are much lower than the other websites on the list. Even when running the On-Page Report Card, this website gets grade F comparing to the other (including mine) websites that get better grades. I just want to understand which criteria I'm missing that can explain why a website appears on first place when it seems it's not well optimized. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Why is a low ranking site outperforming a higher one?
Hi, I've got a question here that is more about learning than about rectifying this specific situation, as it is a low traffic (low dollar) situation. I would appreciate your help. Thanks, Ken The targeted long-tail is: carrollton ga internet marketing The targeted site is: http://www.kennethlewis.com/ Yet, when I run the keyword search I get this other site of mine, which is older, but has much worse metrics. http://www.breemawellness.com/ On this site, all I did was put a in-text link on it and added the keywords to my title tags. Open Site Explorer shows these metrics: KennethLewis.com 34, 23, 18, 98 vs. BreemaWellness 27, 15, 7, 10. Both are on the same server. Note: -Until two months ago the KennethLewis.com was only partially about Internet Marketing- mildly so, actually- and it was a 2-3 page iWeb not-optimized site. But BreemaWellness has never been about Internet Marketing, and those words were just added two months ago for the first time. -KennethLewis.com gets regular content changes, to the blog. BreemaWellness.com almost never gets touched. Thoughts?
