Hi sir Google started fetching again
thank you for your help

What you can do is from within Google Webmaster Tools is to ask Google to fetch the URL of the sitemap and then 'submit it to the index'. That's one technique I've seen working before.
Google Webmaster Tools or Googlebot doesn't seem to crawl robots.txt files very often. Have seen it a couple of times where it could take days for them to crawl the file again after I've changed something.

hi sir, there was a problem on 23rd september in robots.txt which i fixed on 25th after then google bot dint come.. how much time it will take to come back again?

There's nothing wrong with your robots.txt file as far as I can see. It is likely that Google tried accessing the robots.txt file when your server was slow/down for a split second and that's why you are seeing the error. Are you sure that the site hasn't been crawled in 10 days? Have you checked your server log files to verify that? Regardless, once Googlebot does eventually come back, it should read the robots.txt file correctly and then you should be good to go.

I see a good change being made under the ecommerce category for sites being used for online shopping. Let me know if anyone observes a major difference.

Where can I find a breakdown of google search volume by specific industry/vertical? For example, what % of people searching in google are looking for housing? Cars? Restaurants?
I"m looking for specific breakdowns of search volume in google by: #1 Vertical (Shopping/restaurants/Services etc). For example, how many people are searching in google for information pertaining to restaurants per month? Search volume for all of 2012, 2013, 2014? #2 More granular categories within verticals, people searching for: books, apartment rentals, cellphones) Is there a breakdown of google search somewhere online that gives this type of information? Thank you MOZ community, really appreciate it!

Has Google Authorship been completely removed from SERPs?
Noticed today that when I search (non-personalised search, incognito etc.) some of my pages on Google ALL references to authorship have now been completely removed. Does anyone know when this change occurred? I might be a bit slow this week (or last week) with concentrating on projects. I know like others that photos went some time back but now there are no author details being displayed. Just the page title and description. David

Fetch as Google in GWT - Functionality
Hi, For example, some of the HTML improvements notices from GWT, says dupe meta descriptions or titles, for pages that have since been 301 redirected or had a canonical tag added. So, my idea is to force google to read it using "Fetch as Google" - hoping that it will now see 301 redirection or the fix we have implemented. Does this work? How long does it take? Lastly, should I just click the "fetch as google" or should I also click on the "Submit to index" button? Thanks!

Google Shopping Blocking All Vitamins and Natural Products - Glitch or Deliberate Censorship?
Hi everyone. We have a client that manufactures and supplies dietary supplements all around the world. We are slightly concerned that a recent Google shopping glitch (or change) is now seemingly excluding products from the shopping search results. This currently appears only to be happening in the US but we are really concerned, as our client ships all over the world and the potential loss of revenue could be quite large. There is already a YouTube video that demonstrates what is going on which is available below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNDyS0tF4dY Just to clarify, these are products that should not be included in any of Google's “sensitive” categories as they currently stand. Taking Vitamin B12 as an example, it is recognised as a permissible dietary supplement within pretty much every regulatory framework around the world, including those governed by the US FDA, The Euopean Commission and the Australian TGA. Therefore there would be no legal reasons to prevent it's inclusion in shopping results in any country. Has this just slipped under the radar or can anyone point us to a resource that may be able to clarify why this has happened? Thanks in advance guys!

Proper Way To Submit A Reconsideration Request To Google
Hello, In previous posts, I was speaking about how we were penalized by Google for unnatural links. Basically 50,000 our of our 58,000 links were coming from 4-5 sites with the same exact anchor text and img alt tags. This obviously was causing our issues. Needless to say, I wen through the complete link profile to determine that all of the links besides this were of natrural origins. My question here is what is the accepted protocol of submitting a reinclusion request; For example, how long should it be? Should I disclose that I was in fact using paid links, and now that I removed (or at least nofollowed) them? I want to make sure that the request as good as it should so I can get our rankings up in a timely manner. Also, how long until the request is typically aknowledged? Thanks

Google site links on sub pages
Hi all Had a look for info on this one but couldn't find much. I know these days that if you have a decent domain good will often automatically put site links on for your home if someone searches for your company name, however has anyone seen these links appear for sub pages? For example, lets say I had a .com domain with /en /fr /de sub folders, each seoed for their location. If I were to then have domain.com/en/ as no1 in Google for my company in the UK would I be able to get site links under this or does it only work on the 'proper' homepage domain.com/ A client of mine wants to reorganise their website so they have different location sections ranking in different markets but they also want to keep having sitewide links as they like the look of it Thanks Carl
