How Can I print a report that shows the general results in the dashboard view?
-
I would like to print a report for a client, that looks like the dashboard report, more visual. Is there a print to PDF for the general info, which the dashboard provides?

Hi Lana,
Hmm ... did you migrate from Pro to Moz Analytics? As reported on Moz Health, our engineers are fixing an issue where some former Pro users aren't receiving emails. Details are at http://health.moz.com. If this does NOT apply to you, please triple-check your email settings. If they are properly set, please email the Help Team so they can dig into your account. Either way, please let me know what happens. I want to make sure we get you fixed up!
Again, thanks for your patience. You are awesome.

Thanks Christy!
I figured it out and I was able to download the report last week, but the one I scheduled to be emailed out to [email protected] didn't arrive to that email. -
Hi Lana,
Hm ... I was able to generate the PDF preview and download a copy of your report just now. For your privacy, I sent the link to the report preview in a PM. Would you please go into your Custom Reports and try to preview the report once more? I've confirmed that you have set the report up correctly to be emailed to you on a daily basis. Have you received the report yet via email? If not, would you kindly triple-check that the email address is valid and that it's not in your spam folder, etc?
Fingers crossed,
Christy

One more really quick question in regard to this section.
Every time I try to click on this button "Generate PDF Report Preview" in the "preview and download" step....it never produces a PDF that I can download.....it continues to load
" PDF generation in progress".
How can I download the PDF I created?
Also, the reports aren't getting emailed to me....
Thanks in advance!

Hi Javier, thanks for your question! There isn't a feature to export the default dashboard as-is. You can, however, create a Custom Report that is every bit as visual as the one in the dashboard.
To get started, go to your dashboard. Click on the "Custom Reports" button, located underneath the main navigation bar on the RH side of the page. Then follow the directions to create your report using the easy-peasy, drag and drop interface. You can make the report look like your dashboard, or you can customize it to your heart is content.
When you've finished putting the report together, you will be given the option to print a PDF. After you create your PDF, you can then schedule the report to be automatically generated and emailed to you on the schedule that works best for you. Voila!
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Keyword Explorer - root domain (NEW): Domains outside US & Canada - no or no meaningful results
Basically I really like and would love to use the new root domain feature in the Keyword Explorer in my daily work. I usually deal with small to medium sized sites in Switzerland. Looking these up unfortunately it either gives me back nonsense (i.e. keywords that merely have nothing to do with the site; sites are very well keyword optimized) or no data ("There are no results for your search") at all. Is this going to change in the future (...honestly) or its simply due to the fact that MOZ focuses primarily on US & Canada and maybe huge sites in Europe? Thanks for your input. Cheers, Cesare

How Does the On-Page Grader Know about my Target Keyword? Or how can I tell it?
So we've optimized a home page for a particular keyword, "blue widgets tx". But the on-page grader is giving information about "tx blue widgets", "blue widgets in texas", etc. and telling us we are an "F" for these keywords. Is it possible to tell the on-page grader, "Hey, just worry about 'blue widgets tx', and forget about those other ones"? I know I can do it by hand, but it will take forever.

Suggestion for Improving the Crawl Report on Canonicals
This came up in the answer to a question I gave here http://moz.com/community/q/canonicals-in-crawling-reports#reply_222623 Wanted to post here to put it in as a suggestion on how to improve the Moz Crawl reports Currently, the report shows FALSE if there is no canonical link on a page and TRUE if there is. IF you get a TRUE response, this shows up as a warning in your report. I currently use Canonical to Self on almost all my pages to help with some indexing issues. I currently use the EXACT function in excel to create a formula to see if my canonical link matches the URL of the page (as this is what I want it to do). I can then know that the canonical is implemented properly, or if I need to manually check pages to make sure the canonical that points to another page is correct. I would like to suggest that the Moz crawl tool does this. It can show FALSE is the canonical is missing, TRUE if the canonical is present and SELF if the canonical points to the URL of the page it is on. I think for the most part this would be much more actionable information. I would even suggest that TRUE would need to be more of a high priority alert, and SELF can't do any damage, so I would leave that info in the CSV but not have that as a warning in the web interface. Thanks for listening!

Rank Report color coding
As I recall the weekly Rank Report used green and red to indicate an increase or decrease in page rank. Now, there isn't even a minus sign for a drop in page rank. If the current page rank is 10 and it dropped 5, all I see is 10 and 5. How am I supposed to know at a glance that it dropped 5 without having to pull up the historical graph? Best,

Moz showing warnings for each dynamic link despite canonicalization?
As you can see in the attached image, Moz is showing a warning for each dynamic URL despite a rel=canonical tag. Is this by design? If so, it is frustrating seeing as it is really just the one page with many links . . . 9h5oDmr.png

Can the Moz tool identify variations of a Chinese language branded keyword?
We've recently started a trial of the Moz Pro service and are tracking a selection of keywords. Our primary band / product name is 功夫英语(Kungfu English), so we've set a rule that any keywords containing those four Chinese characters (功夫英语) should be marked as a branded keyword. However, in the "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" section of our traffic report, we see a few variations on our brand name that are not being marked as branded keywords. (See attached Images). Based on our rules, shouldn't these variations also be marked as branded keywords without our needing to manually add them as such? Or have I misunderstood the intent of this rule? For the English text, the brand rule about words containing "kungfuenglish" seems to have resulted in all of "www.kungfuenglish.com", "http://www.kungfuenglish.com", and kungfuenglish being labelled as branded keywords. However, I'm not seeing the same sort of result with variations on the Chinese keyword, 功夫英语. KedTi1D.png z5bcUIt.png

Since the revised website was launched, I can't find the "Crawl Test" function showing Titles and Descriptions of other websites. Anyone know where that link is located?
MOZ can "crawl" any website and show information like Title, Description, etc.....Can't find that link.
