How to rank in Local Google Without physical address and phone number?

Can We Rank Well in Local Google without Physical address and Phone Number??? If Yes. How??
-
Also, please check your Private Messages on Moz, I just left you a quick note.
-
Okey.. Thanks Keri..
-
That would be fraud, since there is no actual business.
-
Thanks Keri for such a great information.
And what about other niches for example - plumber, dentist, Electricians etc. My aim is to create such websites and ranked them locally (in New York City), then sell them in good price? Can I do the same?
-
No, for two different reasons.
-
You are not local to New York City.
-
Web design is not considered a local business by Google, and has not been for several years. Even if you were in New York City, you wouldn't be able to show up in local for web design.

Hi Keri, As I am living in India, Can I make a web design service website for New York City (without physical address and phone number)? Can I rank in Local Google?
-
Can you give a little more information about your business? Is this for a local business, that meets with customers at either your location or their location? If it's for web design, that's not considered by Google to be a local business. There are some ways for service businesses to be listed with the address hidden, but most things do require and address and phone number. What type of business is this for?
-
In my opinion, it’s almost nearer to impossible because without the physical address you won’t be able to get your business register in Maps and most aggregator’s website.
If you make location based pages and build good links to it you might rank well but I believe Google will still give preference to the businesses that are already registered in Google Maps and on other aggregator’s listings which is impossible to gain without the physical location and phone number.
hope this helps!

City Pages for Local SEO
Hey Mozzers, I have a local SEO question for you. I am working with a medical professional to SEO their site. I know that when creating city pages, you want to try and make each page as strong as you can, showcasing testimonials from people who live in those towns, for instance. Since my client is in the medical profession, i was going to include a list of parks from that town and say something about how, "we want to encourage good health, etc." However, i began to wonder whether i should just create one, large resource for the surrounding towns having to do with parks, dog parks, and athletic activities and link to it in the top nav. thoughts? Pages ranking outside of sales area
Hi there Moz Community, I work with a client (a car dealership), that mostly serves an area within 50-100 miles at most from their location. A previous SEO company had built a bunch of comparison pages on their website (i.e. 2016 Acura ILX vs. Mercedes-Benz C300). These pages perform well in their backyard in terms of engagement metrics like bounce rate, session duration, etc. However, they pull in traffic from all over the country and other countries as well. Because they really don't have much of an opportunity to sell someone a car across the country that a customer could easily buy at their local dealership, anyone from outside their primary marketing area typically bounces. So, it drags down their overall site metrics plus all of the metrics for these pages. I imagine searchers from outside their primary sales area are seeing their location and saying "whoah that's far and not what I'm looking for." I tried localizing the pages by putting their city name in the title tags, meta descriptions, and content, but that doesn't seem to really be getting rid of this traffic from areas too far away to sell a car to. My worry is that the high bounce rates, low time on site, and general irrelevancy of these pages to someone far away are going to affect them negatively. So, short of trying to localize the content on the page or just deleting these pages all together, I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Do you think that having these high bouncing pages will hurt them? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

Title Tag, URL Structure & H1 for Localization
I am working with a local service company. They have one location but offer a number of different services to both residential and commercial verticals. What I have been reading seems to suggest that I put the location in URLs, Title Tags & H1s. Isn't it kind of spammy and possibly annoying user experience to see location on every page?? Portland ME Residential House Painting Portland ME Commercial Painting Portland Maine commercial sealcoating Portland Maine residential sealcoating etc, etc This strikes me as an old school approach. Isn't google more adept at recognizing location so that I don't need to paste it In H1s all over the site? Thanks in advance. PAtrick

For a generic domain say www.purplecola.com where the company is based in India (IP address there too), how should they best optimize for US search traffic?
Let's just say that they want to target the US market. Should they add a US based IP address? Would love to hear insight from people who have managed this, experienced this or have expertise. Obviously, a US based physical address would help. Thanks!! Chris

Page Title for a Local Shop
Hello everyone 🙂 I would like to have your opinion on one thing: I am working on a local shop selling pottery and other things. So I was thinking, would it make sense to title the page something like: “Pottery Object, San Francisco, Awesome Pottery” which means “keyword, location, company name”? Or is there a better way to optimize the title of the page for a local shop? Thank you very (very) much 🙂
