Best software or online tool to create Videos
-
Kindly let me know best software or online tool to create videos for website and youtube. I am also looking for animation videos etc.
-
I would have to say that the best software to create videos is going to be either Final Cut Pro which is available on the Mac operating system only.
http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/what-is/
you can use Adobe Premier and get the same level of professional capabilities
when tied to its creative cloud makes a pretty cool set of tools.
http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere.html
on online only tools I would look at
most likely
http://www.powtoon.com/ it allows you to do quite a bit and has a lot of animation capabilities built-in
other online tools are

I did not know if you were looking to use YouTube only however I would recommend Wistia over YouTube for a lot of projects in order to show you why please check out this link.

I hope this is of help,
Thomas

Best practice for deindexing large quantities of pages
We are trying to deindex a large quantity of pages on our site and want to know what the best practice for doing that is. For reference, the reason we are looking for methods that could help us speed it up is we have about 500,000 URLs that we want deindexed because of mis-formatted HTML code and google indexed them much faster than it is taking to unindex them unfortunately. We don't want to risk clogging up our limited crawl log/budget by submitting a sitemap of URLs that have "noindex" on them as a hack for deindexing. Although theoretically that should work, we are looking for white hat methods that are faster than "being patient and waiting it out", since that would likely take months if not years with Google's current crawl rate of our site.

Need help creating sitemap
Hello, The details of my question is sitemap related. Below is the background info: we are ecommerce site with around 4000 pages, and 20000 images. we dont have a sitemap implemented on our site yet. i have checked alot of sitemap tools out there, like g-sitecrawler, xml sitemap, a1 sitemap builder etc, and i tried to create sitemaps via them, but all them give different results. the major links are all there, but the results start to vary for level 2, level 3 links and so on. plus no matter how much i read up on sitemaps, the more i am getting confused. i read lots of seomoz articles on sitemaps, and due to my limited seo and technical knowledge, the extra information on these articles gets more confusing. i also just read an article on seomoz that instead of having one sitemap, having multiple smaller sitemaps is very good idea, specially if we are adding lots of new products (which we are). Now my question: My question is having understood the immense value of sitemap (and by having it very poorly implemented before), how can i make sure that i get a very good sitemap (both xml and html sitemap). i do not want to do something again and just repeat old mistakes by having a poorly implemented sitemap for our site. I am hoping that one of the professionals out there, can help me also make and implement the sitemap. If you can please point me to the right direction.

Is there an easy way to create this type of post, wordpress?
I run a site that is in Google news and built on wordpress. I have seen this type of post on a few sites http://searchengineland.com/searchcap-the-day-in-search-december-21-2012-143315 Its basically a summary of posts for that day or week etc I am wondering, does anyone know of an easy way to create these types of pages? At the moment we simply copy and paste and create all links manually. Im wondering, is there a plugin that allows you to create a post like this but quicker? Any ideas at all would be great Thanks in advance

Any quality Local SEO tools with good reports?
We have used BrightLocal for some time now. With Bright Local we do not like the reports from a qualitative point of view in that the information is often wrong.

Does anyone recommend something other than Bright Local? Thanks,0 -

Adding Links Under Embedded Videos?
What's the current opinion of adding do-follow links under video embed codes? Like what Vimeo does. Is this allowed, or does Google/Matt Cutts suggest always no-following these links?
