Why Link Spamming Website Coming on First Page Google?
-
As we all already know about link spamming. As per Google Guidelines Link building, Exact Keywords Anchor Link Building is dead now but i am looking most of the website coming on first page in Google doing same exact keywords linking.
I think directory, article, social bookmarking, press release and other link building activity is also dead now.
Matt always saying content is more important but if we will not put any keywords link in content part then how website rank in first page in Google.
Can anybody explain why is website coming on first page because when i am doing same activity for quality links with higher domain authority website then we are affected in Google update.
-
Yes mate i have already checked most of the profile found paid or something link other there are no option to create our profile link.
Only very less website where we can follow us.
-
A mixture of both, i suggest you take a look at your competitors and see what kind of link profiles they have it can be very helpful for working out a good measure.
-
Can you give me 2-3 website example for broad link profile and community website.
We should target no follow website or target only do follow.
-
A broad link profile is great, do some community out reach for design places. A press release can be a good way to let people know you exists (though they will be no follow) optimize your site with meta tags etc.
There are some excellent resources here - http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo
(try chapter 7 )
-
Yes but we should create more link portfolio not only directory.
Can you share us which activity can we do for onpage/offpage now a days will be great for us.
-
A few directories in a larger link profile isn't bad per sei but I wouldn't recommend having most of your link portfolio made up of directories & articles.
-
Hi,
You can and high authority sites do tend to work better but again they need to be relevant, relevancy is the key here if your site is about e.g gardening there is no point in having links from car sites or politic sites etc.
Guest blogging is a bit of a no no now - http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/guest-blogging/ as is comment spam in blogs of course you can still do some gust blogging for high authority niche sites that are relevant but just not spam across the board blogging.
If you're going to create a blog rather than have 20-30 with thin content I'd work on 1 with really great content that's going to help users make them want to read it and share it.
I recommend you read the guide I posted previously.

Hi Chris Painter,
Thanks for sharing!
I want to know, Can we do directory, article etc.for only high domain authority website for targeting only long tail keywords?
And should we put link on blog website?
Should be create blog on separate 20- 30 website or need to create only one or two then only update content.
-
Hiya,
I recommend you take a look at -http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo
Directory, articles social book marking is no longer a good method for link building and if end up with you getting a penalty. It's always good to focus on long tail keywords but that doesn't mean you want any link profile of you have to look over optimized you want it to look natural and naturally most links will be a direct link.
You can put a link where ever you want but be careful as it will look unnatural and get you penalized. You can create blogs that relate to your niche or find a community in the same niche and connect see if there is a link opportunity etc.
Try to work out where a user would find a link to your website helpful e.g if your site is about gardening a gardening blog or forum may be a good start. Directories can be alright but again as long as its in the niche and not spammy.
good luck!

I have analysis more website, they are on first page around 3-4 year not for only short period.
For. Ex. zoomremovals.com.au, mainstreethost.com etc.
As per you can we do directory, article, social bookmarking and other off page activity?
We should link exact keywords or long tail which is good one as per you.
Can we put link any blog, article and other content marketing?
-
Not completely sure I get the question but if a competitor is one first page for black hat site don't worry they may be up there for now but longer term they won't stay up there. You will find that sites like that come and go but never stay long, keep creating good content and working on great link methods that in in Googles guidelines and over time you will stay at the top compared to being there for a week or two.

What to do with internal spam url's google indexed?
I am in SEO for years but never met this problem. I have client who's web page was hacked and there was posted many, hundreds of links, These links has been indexed by google. Actually these links are not in comments but normal external urls's. See picture. What is the best way to remove them? use google disavow tool or just redirect them to some page? The web page is new, but ranks good on google and has domain authority 24. I think that these spam url's improved rankings too 🙂 What would be the best strategy to solve this. Thanks. k9Bviox

Google spider
If someone provide 1 or more cent discount to our customers who put up a link on their site, and wanted to actually show the referral discount in their shopping cart for that customer, can Google see that and realize they are providing a discount for a link? Can Google see what's displayed in our their web application - like in the upload, shopping cart and complete transaction pages?

A Sitemap Web page & A Sitemap in htaccess - will a website be penalised for having both?
Hi I have a sitemap url already generated by SEO Yoast in the htaccess file, and I have submitted that to the search engines. I'd already created a sitemap web page on the website, also as a helpful aid for users to see a list of all page urls. Is this a problem and could this scenario create duplicate issues or any problems with search engines? Thanks.

Pages mirrored on unknown websites (not just content, all the HTML)... blackhat I've never seen before.
Someone more expert than me could help... I am not a pro, just doing research on a website... Google Search Console shows many backlinks in pages under unknown domains... this pages are mirroring the pages of the linked website... clicking on a link on the mirror page leads to a spam page with link spam... The homepage of these unknown domain appear just fine... looks like that the domain is partially hijacked... WTF?! Have you ever seen something likes this? Can it be an outcome of a previous blackhat activity?

Massive Google Search Spam
We have come to know that one of competitors of our client is spamming Google search results on massive scale. If we search with keywords like "iphone spy apps" , "text messages spy " etc then most of results from 3rd or 4th page onwards show totally irrelevant sites but when we click on those results/pages then all redirect to either http://topspysoft.com/ OR http://www.mspy.com/ . They have been doing it on massive scale for last few months against hundreds of queries and populating hundreds of search results. If use some country specific Google site then again hundreds of results come from totally irrelevant country specific domains (au,nz,uk etc) and they all redirect to topspysoft.com or mspy.com. Can you please tell how they are doing it and how they are able to do it on such a massive scale without getting noticed by Google ? Is there any way to report this issue to Google as the current only allows one link ? Following are some of the spam urls to give you an idea www.crcincva.com/doc/20-best-iphone-spy-apps/

Google is giving one of my competitors a quasi page 1 monopoly, how can I complain?
Hi, When you search for "business plan software" on google.co.uk, 7 of the 11 first results are results from 1 company selling 2 products, see below: #1. Government site (related to "business plan" but not to "business plan software")
White Hat / Black Hat SEO | | tbps
#2. Product 1 from Palo Alto Software (livePlan)
#3. bplan.co.uk: content site of Palo Alto Software (relevant to "business plan" but only relevant to "business plan software" because it is featuring and linking to their Product 1 and Product 2 sites)
#4. Same site as #3 but different url
#5. Palo Alto Software Product 2 (Business Plan Pro) page on Palo Alto Software .co.uk corporate site
#6. Same result as #5 but different url (the features page)
#7. Palo Alto Software Product 2 (Business Plan Pro) local site
#8, #9 and #10 are ok
#11. Same as #3 but the .com version instead of the .co.uk This seems wrong to me as it creates an illusion of choice for the customer (especially because they use different sites) whereas in reality the results are showcasing only 2 products. Only 1 of Palo Alto Software's competitors is present on page 1 of the search results (the rest of them are on page 2 and page 3). Did some of you experience a similar issue in a different sector? What would be the best way to point it out to Google? Thanks in advance Guillaume0 -
Ask Bloggers/Users To Link To Website
I have a web service that help bloggers to do certain tasks and find different partners. We have a couple of thousand bloggers using the service and ofcourse this is a great resource for us to build links from. The bloggers are all from different platforms and domains. Currently when a blogger login to the service we tell the blogger that if they write a blog post about us with their own words, and tell their readers what they think of our service. We will then give them a certain benifit within the service. This is clearly encouraging a dofollow-link from the bloggers, and therefore it's not natural link building. The strategy is however working quite good with about 150 new blog posts about our service per month, which both gives us a lot of new visitors and users, but also give us link power to increase our rankings within the SERP. Now to my questions: This is not a natural way of building links, but what is your opinion of this? Is this total black hat and should we be scared of a severe punishment from Google? We are not leaving any footprints more than we are asking the users for a link, and all blogposts are created with their own unique words and honest opinions. Since this viral marketing method is working great, we have no plans of changing our strategy. But what should we avoid and what steps should we take to ensure that we won't get in any trouble in the future for encouraging our users to linking back to us in this manner?

Landing Page or Doorway ?- that is the question!
Hi Guys, So, I'm looking at a project to build a series of landing pages that cross map cities with Suname. E.g. Sydney + Smyth, New York + Fitzpatrick. On those pages I'll pull in from our directory relevant name based listings and try and display some other tailored / information. The page itself is the end goal - it is definitely not a doorway in the classic sense of encouraging someone to then go on the main site. I want the user to fill out a form on this page because they realise they've landed on a valuable service. I'm looking at potentially 500 names against 2000 locations, creating 1,000,000 landing pages. Although some of the content will be repetitive I genuinely believe someone doing the appropriate search and finding our page will derive value from our page as our whole business is designed to answer their needs. However I'm worried that Google may classify these pages as doorway pages. Could anyone please shine the light of experience on this for me? Thanks!
