Just bought a domain PA 22 and DA 16 domain related of my niche, here you can see the authority
What to do?
A) Make a 301 to my money site?
B) Make a mini Blo?
My website is DA 22 and PA 31, will it benefit my site?
thank you :))

Just redirecting an otherwise inactive domain (no website, etc.) will not help the site you redirect it to much at all, even if it has DA / PA. Google reduced how much this tactic helped quite a long time ago. If you bought an active website, transferred its contents to your existing site or created a similar-topic area on your existing site, and redirected pages to their most relevant resource on your existing site, you should see some benefit. However, just buying and redirecting domains is highly unlikely to result in your rankings improving.

I'm assuming its just the domain.. no website and no current rankings/traffic. Unless you have the resources to manage another blog (loading it up with content, funneling it to your money site), I'd just go for the 301 redirect.
Set up GWT and see which pages have external links to them (via the 404 errors page), then choose appropriate pages on your money site to redirect to.

SEO value of 301 redirects from non-existent sites.
I have a question about an SEO tactic. There is this site that has purchased three domain names, and has redirected them to their main site. The three domains are: Spokaneduilawyer org, Spokaneduilaw com, and Spokaneduilawfirm com and the website has all three domains redirecting to their main site. What is the SEO value with this? I looked at those three domains on Majestic and they have no backlinks that I could find, and when I looked on archive.org I didn't see any history of those domains being actual sites that might bring traffic. What is the webmaster trying to do, and what is this tactic called?

When buying used domains, how do i see the links pointing to that domain? OSE not showing links
when buying used domains, how do i see the links pointing to that domain? Sometimes the open site explorer doesn't show any links to the domain, especially if the domain is parked. Obviously a domain for sale with 1000 domains linking to it has lots of SEO Value right? Thanks mozzers!

Educational and Governmental ref. backlinks/domains
I have two question in my mind, decided to first time post and ask the community for better information. 1-How important Educational and Govermental Ref Domains/backlinks are? Shell we try to gain them? Or they are just like the others backlinks/domains? 2-When we break down the backlinks to Images-textlinks. What percent of backlinks should be images? (for info my website has 97 percent textlink and 3 percent image backlinks)

Is it better to have a blog under your main website's domain or should the company's blog have its own domain?
Is it better to have a blog under your main website's domain or should the company's blog have its own domain? And if the blog is on its own domain, do links to the main site look good or bad to Google? Thanks! (And please feel free to add any other related advice you might have...)

Best way to set up a support site - sub domain, separate site or com/support?
My company is setting up our support site. It has been suggested that we set it up as a separate domain - www.company-support.com, rather than setting it up as a sub-domain (www.support.company.com) or the usual www.company.com/support. The person who proposed this believes it wlll create link juice, but i wonder if splitting the traffic will create more harm than good? Opinions please!

301 redirect on yahoo hosting
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could lend some advice to getting a 301 redirect on yahoo web hosting; I spoke with someone in SEO and they referred me to a site that had step by step instruction, the only problem is that was for the yahoo store, my business is not e commerce rather a service website. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem, some say that Yahoo does not offer "301 redirects" on their hosting, however, they say there are methods to cirumvent that, my site is html. Any suggestions would be great - thanks best regards, James C

Is it better to link back to the root domain, or the specific page you're optimizing for?
I'm working on a project our site - building links for iPhone Repair. For the term "iphone repair miami" - is it more ideal to link to the root domain (xxx.com) or to the subpage that is about iPhone Repair (xxx.com/iphone-repair)? I would imagine the latter - but obviously that page has less authority than the root. Thanks!
