Is there a tool on Moz or out on the internet that does bad link checker
-
I'm still pretty new to this and I was wondering if there is a free software, one of Moz or free out on the the internet that allows you to check bad links. I've done a lot of link building with citations and directories that for my clients industry. I just don't want to add their website and profile to a bad/risky directory and it penalizes my clients. I've seen a few out there, but I need one that is respectable and reliable. Any suggestions? I found one called bad neighborhood http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm.
Thanks Again,
Benny

Hi, there are no real short cuts other than a bit of hard work for checking you can use sites like https://www.majesticseo.com/reports/neighbourhood-checker as a quick guide. A paid option is link Detox but because its algorithm based it still required you to sort though it or you might miss a perfect site that was accidentally picked up for being "bad". Generally I try to avoid software like link detox because normally people use it to bulk check and it can do more harm than good.
You might find this Q&A very helpful - http://moz.com/community/q/find-and-monitor-possible-bad-links

I don’t see any reliable tool when it comes to bad link checking but if paid is an option for you then I have personally use Link Detox and it works great for me. Link Risk is another tool that I would recommend as I know the people behind that tool and they are amazing brains of the search industry.
Hope this helps!

Inbound links not showing in reports
My clients site so far only has a few inbound links. If I do a report on MOZ/Open Site Explorer it only lists 10 domains linking in and, a number of important ones are not on that list. As an example, one of the leading UK national newspapers (Daily Telegraph) has a link on this page to the client www.vidavida.co.uk and yet this link/domain does not appear in the above reports. Is this an intentional nofollow type thing that the telegraph does and is there a way for me to check that on their site/page? http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/news-features/TMG8655068/Holiday-travel-in-style.html Any comments most appreciated. ETA On the Keyword Research Tool?
I'm trying to do some keyword research on Google UK but it hasn't been working for a couple of days now. I have a client waiting on a proposal that features this research heavily and might lose them if I can't use it soon! Is there any estimated time for the return of the service? Is the keyword tool down for everybody?
