How does Google treat Dynamic Titles?

Let's say my website can be accessed in only 3 states Colorado, Arizona and Ohio. I want to display different information to each visitor based on where they are located. For this I would also like the title to change based on their location. Not quite sure how Google we treat the title and rank the site.... Any resources you can provide would be helpful. Thanks

Google and search engines in general will treat the title as what it sees when indexing the page. There is nothing wrong with changing titles (people do it all the time for testing and optimization) however it isn't ideal to have one page with a dynamic title. By having one page with a dynamic title you are really just confusing search engines, they will have a hard time trying to serve their result page (SERP).
The way us web builders handle the situation you are in is by using parameters. Example:
examplesite.com?state=OH
examplesite.com?state=CO
examplesite.com?state=AZThese are in essence 3 different pages which would be treated as such for indexing purposes, content wise it may all be the same but changes with parameters on your index.html / asp / php page. Since you must be using parameters to serve a dynamic title why not include some dynamic content and rank for 3 pages?

Google Answer Box

Dissapeared from Google - Urgent
We are new to the whole SEO thing and could be described as total numpties as we have hidden away from it, scared of what it means and what might happen if we open that can of worms. But after seeing a 25% drop in visitors over a year, and a continued fall, we thought we better try and get our heads around what we need to do to improve our chances on google. Consequently we have signed up to MOZ and are exploring its crawl results and trying to learn and action things. Today we noticed that we have dropped fairly completely from Google for many of our top key words. We are based in Italy,our site is in Italian and we only target Italy. Our homepage is http://www.shoechic,it and two of our top keywords that have dissapeared are: "scarpe sexy" & "Scarpe Pleaser" We would love to hear if anyone can throw some light in why this dramatic change may have taken place and what we can do to address it. I am having a hard time figuring out what the best META title tag is for my site. I have a deal blog that focuses on Amazon deals but I also write articles, top ten lists, etc. It is baby and mom related. Is there a tutorial for this? Streaming Google Places Reviews
Google no longer lets users pull an iframe of places reviews. I can't find a plugin for wordpress that will do this either. Any suggestions on how to show Google places reviews on your website? Or... should we blow it off and just go with yelp / City Search reviews?
