Website completely delisted - reasons?
-
Hi,
I got a request from a potential client as he do not understand why his website cannot be found on Google. I've checked that and found out that the complete website is not listed (complete delist) at all - expect just one pdf file.
I've checked his robots.txt - but this is ok. I've checked the META Robots - but they are on index, follow ... ok so far. I've checked his backlinks but could not found any massive linking from bad pages - just 6 backlinks and only four of them from designdomains.com which looks like a linklist or so.I've requested access to their GWT account if available in hope to find more infos, but does anyone of you may have a quick idea what els it could be? What could be the issue?
I think that they got delisted due to any bad reason ...
Let me know your Ideas
THANX

2 things nobody said:
1st
Robots.txt says disallow to image and Theme (where i guess css and js is included)2nd
WebOfTrust warning to not enter the site because of not trustworthy -
Thank you very much - meanwhile I found some spammy links too. Will tell him that. Looks like someone hacked his site before I've just got the Administrator acces and loged in ... hell - will tell him to fire his webmaster as he probably didn't comply with the most basic rules of securing a Website -.-
Thank you very much again for your help

Looks like you have been injected with spam links. Used MajesticSEO to show the attached (sample).
I'd be assertive in getting into GWT asap. I guess those URLs don't exist but it is still a big no.

If you go with the client disavow that domain for sure.

Right, but before I tell a potential client, that he fucked up his own website, I need to have some evidence for that - I haven't found them yet.
-
Ok,
here's the URL: http://www.hvla.com Here's the indexed pages https://www.google.de/#q=site:http:%2F%2Fwww.hvla.com and here's the robots.txt: http://www.hvla.com/robots.txt
I haven't found anything suspiccious so far - even the small ammount of backlings from designdomain.com shouldn't kock him out. I will try to get ftp access to take a look at the .htaccess and to get GWT access - hope that helps.Moz found a handfull of backlinks zo hvla.com. would that mean, that some of these pages has been indexed before? I mean does Moz count inboundlinks to pages which are indexed by Google?
Thanx.

I got a request from a potential client as he do not understand why his website cannot be found on Google.
Honestly.... I think most of the people who say this know what they did but they ain't sayin'.

Without knowing the domain or any information in GWT nobody is going to be able to really help.
The only think I can think of is possibly .htaccess blocking Google.

Merge separate corporate website and online shop ?
Currently we have a corporate website with general information about a women fashion brand: domain.ae. This domain has general information about the brand, and links to a blog: domain.ae/blog and an online shop: shop.domain.ae There are much fewer links to the shop compared to the corporate site. In google, often the corporate domain ranks for keywords that would be more relevant to the online shop. I am therefore considering merging the two sites, by basically having the shop on the domain.ae, and adding some more general pages to it, and linking to the blog from there. Will this likely help me in the rankings ? Are there any drawbacks of merging? Any other advice ?

Ranking in SERPs but not using terms on website.
As far as I know, it's not normally possible for a website to rank for a keyword that is not mentioned on the website. I have seen a website that ranks very well for key terms and yet they are not mentioned anywhere on the website, I have run advanced search & checked using tools including cloak checker on my findings. How can this be?

Shell we provide dofollow outbound links from our website?
Hello, I am little confused about providing dofollow links from our website. We have a social shopping website where users can create catalog of their favorite products by bookmarking them from other websites, so our website might have thousands of outbound links. Now the confusion is whether we should have these links "nofollow" or "dofollow"? As per my understanding dofollow links will pass juice to other websites but on the other hand it might benefit us as well, sellers might come and bookmark their products for getting dofollow links. I read somewhere that if we have quality outbound links around a topic, google treats us as hub for that topic. But I am not clear if we will get this advantage only when these links are dofollow? Please help.

Local + National seo for a new website
Hi, Look for idea for a website owner selling training courses on painting , he wants to be ranked locally first but also national on google Serp (only one physical address available). His domain name is rather a branded one (no kw in it), and the website is recent (1 year) . An audit will be focused on competitor rankings to find niche KW. I 'd advise : - For local : optimized Google address listing + local business directories + optumized page with local emphasis (shema.org ..) For national : to make unique relevant content pages with keywords geographically targeted (according audit), for instance for a specific town, to include terms related to this particular local market etc.. 1/ What 's else could i suggest to start a national ranking ? 2/ Have you heard of a tool to make distant queries on Google ? I mean , i leave in Madrid (spain) and want to see google serp as if i was in Barcelona ? (seems difficult as google uses Ip). Tks in advance for your advices...
