Being forced to reconnect to GA every day
-
Every day I log into MOZ in the morning, and a message appears at the top (in red) saying that there's a problem with 1 or more of my campaigns regarding Google Analytics. Whichever campaign I open first has this same message, meaning that this is effecting that particular campaign.
I click on the link provided in the message and am brought to a screen asking if MOZ can be connected to GA "offline", whatever that means. I click OK every time, and yet this problem persists. Moreover, it happens to whichever campaign I click first. I've done this to each campaign at least once, and to one 3 different days. Clearly the issue isn't connectivity to GA, but I'm worried I won't be getting data because of this error.
If anyone knows how to resolve this or can provide some insight, please help. Thank you!

Thank you very much, Abe.

Hello Lumina, it looks like the Google Analytics connection token in your campaign was broken, so I ran a fix and you shouldn’t run into this error anymore. If you do, make sure to write [email protected] and we will try to quickly resolve this for you. Thanks for reaching out to us!

I would suggest contacting the MOZ help team…sounds a bit glitchy

What happens if I remove GA completely?
If I were to remove Google Analytics completely, what would happen with my Moz campaign? What wouldn't I be able to see or use? I ask this on the back of the recent changes to EU 'cookie law'. It's getting to the point now where GA will no longer be a viable option unless you want to rely on consent from those awful cookie popup notices - the ones everyone hates and just clicks on to see the content.

Crawl still in process for 3 days. Not sure why the site isn't being crawled
I added a new site to the crawl, but it seems to be stalled. It was supposed to crawl Feb 19, but it is still in process Feb 22. It tried to crawl the site and there was a robots.txt issue, but that issue was resolved way before the 19th. Not sure what is going on. this is for the clear lake campaign.

Moz showing zero traffic GA showing activity
Hey guys Im sure this question has been asked before but I could not find it. I promised I looked hard. I hooked up my account three days ago. For some reason Google Analytics is showing that I am indeed getting some good traffic to my site. But Moz is reporting zero zero zero across the board for anything and showing I have zero back links which is not correct. I thought it would eventually start working but its not. Any suggestions?

"We are collecting your traffic data now!" message displayed for many days
I am getting this message: "We are collecting your traffic data now! You should see your traffic metrics here within the next 24 to 48 hours." for more then 3 days now and I'm starting to worry... Is this showing only to me or is a delay on all MOZ accounts?

How to force MOZ crawlers to search in the right area for local SEO
We do local SEO over here and so our keywords are always followed by a city name, like so: "auto repair+Springfield". If there's ever any confusion within SERPS which "Springfield" the searcher is looking for we can depend on Google to pull query location to assume it's the nearest to them (it does, and is usually correct). And furthermore, if the office ever needs to check for rankings by hand (we're not in Springfield), we just set the query location to "Springfield" and our results match their. However, MOZ doesn't set a query location. Which makes sense, I suppose, because their crawlers are up in the Bay. What I'm saying is that oftentimes there's a discrepancy between how MOZ tells me they rank, and how I see them ranking, the business owner sees them ranking, and how the customer finds them ranking. As such, we can't send them reports through MOZ 😞 Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Should the keyword be followed by a zip code instead of a city name? This seems like it would solve the location query problem but it may not provide the same results as service+city name.
