Why are no-follow links in my blog comments across the web showing up as "equity-passing"?

When I make comments on blog posts (and there's a link in my comment or my name is the link to my site), the links are always no-follow (as they should be). But, when I check Open Site Explorer, the new links show up as equity-passing. Are they actually passing equity or is this a mistake?

Do you have any other links that we are counting as follow that are using the "external nofollow" tag? Our devs are trying to find a pattern to rule out the possibility of the link not set as nofollow when we originally crawled it.

Yes, for example the comments on this page (selbstaendig-im-netz.de/2014/08/12/blogs/aufbau-eines-blog-business-tipps-fehler-und-erfahrungen-interview-mit-dem-affenblog) are nofollow, thats the code:
In Open Site Explorer they are listed under equity passing.

Sorry for bringing up this thread again, I have the same problem. When I check the links of a competitor, it shows nofollow comments as equity passing. It seems like a mistake..

We have confirmed there is a front-end issue that is counting the links as followed but not from our API. We will have this patched up pretty quick!

This does seem very strange as it should not be counting nofollow links. I have one of our engineers looking into this and will let you know what I find out!

Unsolved Huge Increase In Internal Links + Domain Authority Tanked
Hey, I am very concerned about the link metrics I am seeing, really hoping someone can help. In October last year there were a total of 34.7K 'total links' attributed to my E-commerce website . This compared to 41.2k and 213k links attributed to my two main competitors. In November, my website had a forced update due to incompatibility issues my shopping cart version was having with the server on which it is hosted. (I was told by my web developers / hosting company that their server was upgraded.) This update created many problems such as checkout issues, page layout issues, sitemaps not automatically regenerating and the big one - it reverted back to http instead of https. Along with my developers, I spent 2 weeks fixing all of the issues until everything worked correctly and https was reinstated. After initial warnings from Moz, I have not received any critical crawler issues or warnings, big ranking drops etc since November. I was satisfied that all was ok. However, in November my 'total links' jumped to 81.5k and have since continued to balloon. December - 309.1k, January -335k, February - 665k, March - 716k, April - 719k, May - 742k, June - 751k. In the same period (November - June), my external links went from 5.3k - 8.7k. So it appears the huge increase in links are internal. In my latest report it states that 'internal follow links' are up by 8k and 'internal no follow links' are up by 1k. This is insane. I cannot understand why I have so many internal links and why they keep increasing. I maintain the website with updates, blog articles etc but no more than I have in the past several years. Worryingly, once this increase in links started being reported, my Domain Authority has also tanked. In October my DA was 37 (higher than my competitors) and has since dropped as low as 19. It has gone up to 21 this month (still significantly lower than my competitors). I have spent hours researching why this huge increase in internal links could be happening but have got nowhere. If anyone could advise what the issue could be and how I can fix it, I would be eternally grateful. Issues I have discovered along the way that may help with analysis:

My site has many 404s (hundreds) - all relate to urls of old images that have been removed from the website. The 'Top Hits' on my website are from blogs (some spammy) to these deleted image urls that return a 404. I don't use any plugins. I do get 'duplicate content' notices as my blog posts archive themselves and generate new urls - as an example - 'blog post name' archived December 2023. It may be the case that the old http urls have been redirected to https but I have no warnings for 'redirect issues' in Moz. Hi.. I need to check backlinks for one of my client website duplicatebills through Moz Pro link explorer tool then its show that linking domain to this website are 90 but when i cross check these links from other tools like Ahref free backlinking tool then its show a different figure (ahref show that linking domain to this website are 103).

Is the Link Tracking Lists feature broken?
I used to be able to create a list of links via Link Tracking Lists and within 8 days Moz bot would visit and index the links in the Moz database. However, this no longer works. Is it broken? I have used this previously without issues, and tried several times over 20 days, but nothing. Anyone else having issues? Moz support - is this feature broken? If so, when do you envisage having it fixed? Thanks

Open site explorer: error message "There was an error getting your data"
I"m trying out MOZ, wanting to make an informed decision (for myself and my blogging students) whether this is a useful program to buy and use. I've had no luck so far with the Open Site Explorer. Each time I try, I get the same error message, "There was an error getting your data". I used the URL: http://writetodone.com I asked about the problem in the chat, but my question was posed over an hour ago and is still marked 'unread'... I"m keen to continue studying the program as I'm creating a video about MOZ. How can I make the Open Site Explorer work? I've tried the Analytics module but it seems to take some days to get results. OSE not picking up all internal links?
Hi! I've been checking a few pages in OSE. For example: https://www.holidayhypermarket.co.uk/holidays/last-minute This, according to the tool, has only 6 internal links. However, a Screaming Frog crawl picks up 700+, which is about right seeing as there is a link in the footer. What do you think could be behind the discrepancy?

OSE Says I have 3,115 total links but I can only export 660 via advanced reports
