Is there a way to find out who the admin of a Google Analytics account is?
-
We have a client who has been searching high and low to gain access to the GA account that is tied to their website, but previous agencies keep stating they don't have access. Is there a way to find out who the admins are on a GA account with the tracking number so we can reach out to that person and ask them to admin the client?

I found that this is the most up to date support information provided by Google when looking to regain access to an analytics account... https://support.google.com/analytics/troubleshooter/7264014?hl=en#ts=7271146

Hi,
I don't know whether your issue resolved or not by following either of above suggestion. This time I am sharing a Googler's post on exact issue. Please have a look.
Thanks

Have you tried searching the account number to see what other websites (if any) are using that account? If you client's UA number does not end in a -1 then there is a good chance whomever made the site used the same account for all of the work they did, including their own site.

Try to contact somebody at Google - best way to access them is via Adwords; if you still have access to the Adwords account you can try the contact us under the help function. A good how to can be found here: http://www.brettasnyder.com/blog/reclaim-google-analytics-account-access/ (not sure if all the steps are still possible).
Alternative is try to call Google Adwords directly - phone numbers are here https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1385067?hl=en-GB&authuser=0 or probably even better - if you know somebody at Google - try to get some help from him.
Hope this helps,
Dirk

Hi,
I don't think there is a way to find out who the admin is since Google is not providing an option for that at the moment. However, if you have an Account Rep for Adwords or any Google products, you can contact that person and your rep should be able to direct you to the right person. If not, you can always reach out to [email protected] and they should be able to help you contact the admin since they're not able to provide you with the email due to privacy issues.
Hope this helps.

Would updating Meta Titles affect Google analytics tracking?
Hi All, I need a little bit of help. We need to optimize our blog's articles Meta titles for SEO which all exceed 100 characters. I was told that if we change the titles, google analytics would split the tracking pages and count the data as 2 pages (old title and new title). Has any of you have this experience before and if so, is there a way to avoid google analytics counting this as two pages? Thanks in advance! Google Analytics - Next Page Path is the Same URL?
Hey Everyone, I have a Google analytics question. I'm looking through a client's site and when I look at the next page path, I get the same URL as the next path. For example, on the homepage, the next page path I get is the homepage again? This happens for all URL's, is this an implementation error? Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

Where to find "Keywords that Sent Organic Search Visits" in Google Analytics?
Hi everyone, Tried searching for this answer but couldn't find it. In the new analytics, I can see that there is a graph that shows the number of unique keywords that brought traffic to our site sorted by weeks. I can't seem to find this data in Google Analytics. I can only find the number of visits but not sorted by how many keywords, instead it is just # of visits from all of the keywords. Thanks in advance. SZ

Google Analytics Goals are not recording
Hello! I've set up Goals within Google Analytics and they aren't registering. I'm wondering if someone can review what I've set up to see if I've entered something wrong. I'm trying to track enrollments. Here's the site info: Enroll URL: http://www.careplusdentalplans.com/individuals/enroll-careplus/ Upon completion, the user goes to a Thank You page and our CMS generates a trailing URL parameter. For example: http://www.careplusdentalplans.com/index.php/individuals/enroll-careplus-thank-you/#123456789 My Goal info in GA: Goal URL: /individuals/enroll-careplus-thank-you/
Reporting & Analytics | | SmileMoreSEO
Match Type: Head Match (to disregard trailing URL parameter)
Goal Funnel: Step 1: /individuals/enroll-careplus/ I'm curious if the problem lies in either: The URL: Notice how the URL adds /index.php/ on the thank you page. In that case, should I enter the full URL in the Goal instead of the truncated URL? The Funnel: Is it necessary to show the initial Enroll page or if I'll see that in the Flow Visualization regardless? Thanks in advance for helping me out. Erik0 -
